We celebrated our son’s 21st in the beer garden on Friday night. It was unusually cold and there was potential for rain, but we were warm with plenty of heaters on, and kept dry with all the undercover areas. Communication in the lead up to the event was excellent and on the night the staff checked in regularly to see that everything was running smoothly. We ordered a variety of platters and everyone commented on how delicious everything was, and I found the presentation to be excellent! We had a bar tab that ran smoothly and the staff accommodated us with a present table and cake cutting with ease. Really nothing was too much trouble for the lovely crew at The Stirling Arms. We were really impressed, and enjoyed a fabulous night! Thanks to Hannah and all the team!

We went to the Stirling Arms few times now already. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly, there is live music and tones of good vibes! Best place to go for a real Italian pizza made from pizza chef Aldo that also works at the “The Italians” on Mends street where we first met him and his gorgeous pizza! Ps. Margaritas are awesome too 😉 Don’t miss it! Highly recommended

Maybe an off night. Food did not arrive at the same time. Quite a gap between our 4 meals. It started badly & went down hill. I had Seniors Fish & Chips. I was shocked to get what can only be described as a small Fish Finger. I'm not sure where it stares that because you are on the more mature side, you get portion fit for a toddler. Husbands Chicken burger was the size if 2 chicken nuggets, and the bun was on the well done side. Sons beef burger was very pink inside, but the fourth dish, the pasta was well received. We will give it benefit if doubt & try again, but my goodness what a disappointment.

Since new owners Jesse and Dave took the reigns of the Stirling Arms, I can not fault this place. The staff are all super lovely, accomodating and friendly. The food has had a massive revamp, super delicious with special mention to their new wood fired pizzas. Thanks for creating such a welcoming local venue for many of us 😊
The Good Fellas
I’ve been here a few times over the past few months, and honestly, the kitchen seems to be slipping a bit. The bruschetta had tomatoes that looked like they were just chopped in half super awkward to eat. The wedges? Tasted like they came straight from Spudshed… they used to be way better! That said, we tried the pizza, and it was absolutely on point! Finally a loaded pepperoni pizza that it’s worth its name.
