A very pleasant stay. This hotel has a great location close to great cafes, bars and restaurants. There are two gyms, a small one next to the indoor heated pool and a larger gym on the ground floor behind reception. The room was well appointed and comfortable. I liked the included minibar however this was not refreshed daily as mentioned in their ‘little black book’. Service was excellent upon check-in and all touch points with the team was top notch. I’d stay here again.

It’s a bit of an odd one, this. We stayed in the Airbnb part of the place, but it felt completely like a hotel, down to the scented air in the corridors. The rooms in our apartment were lovely - plenty big enough, and the beds were very comfy, especially the sheets, which were top quality. It seems a bit petty to note this, but the towels were a disappointment. I’m not after super-fluffy piles of softness, but I draw the line at thin and scratchy. They let the room down. The location is great, with everything in easy walking or Uber-distance. The checkout times and documentation is a bit unfriendly, but overall, it’s a good place and handy for short stays.

We stayed 1 night at Midnight Hotel and it was a pleasant stay. As a Gold member I did get an upgrade (there are only 2 non suite rooms categories anyway), although the upgraded room was on the smaller side, not sure how small the base room would be. It was nevertheless very comfortable, I did request a firm mattress and foam pillows, both of which were provided. The bathroom is very modern and the shower has great water pressure. I liked that the mini bar is free and I also quite liked the hotel bar, I had a cocktail there and it was surprisingly very good. The location is great and near a lot of restaurants.

it is a shame that such a beautiful hotel and a very elegant restaurant can be placed with very bad customer service and slow and not polite staff upon checking the deputy manager Jessica was very rude, made us go to the car by ourselves at a late night to grab our own bags on a trolley and deliver to the room with no Support. The check-in process was very horrible and slow and we got asked for 10 different ID checks as they have had recent fraud which is not our problem. The cleaning of the room took 3.5 hours after multiple requests. This is all noted and recorded. We were massively over charged upon check out but luckily this was rectified by the manager on the weekend. He was a lovely gentleman Anuip he promised that the hotel management team then or Mora will call immediately to rectify the situation… I am not sure how! There was construction at the front - noisy So unfortunately, lovely location in the Beautiful restaurant. Food was totally shadowed by the horrific customer service and the understaffing of the front desk. All in all if you’re after a nice bed with absolutely no service then this is an impressive design hotel with a beautiful restaurant. If you are after any sort of humane interaction or a smile… Then stay away from this hotel at all costs

Stayed here for a weekend and it was everything the website described. It makes me laugh that people complain about it being “too dark”, it’s called MIDNIGHT and clearly shows the dark aesthetic of the hotel online. We loved the dark and moody feel to the hotel! The bathrooms were beautiful, especially the low light mirror. Yes there wasn’t much window, and it was something to adjust to however it didn’t negatively affect our stay as you could open the window for fresh air, which isn’t common in hotels. The bed was plush, the room was perfectly clean, the decor was different and modern and classy, the amenities were all thought of and the shampoo etc lovely. The free minibar was well stocked with drinks and waters which was VERY welcomed, admittedly I was hoping for something extra to eat than a bag of nuts. Despite that, I’d prefer waters and drinks which we could take with us on our daily adventures. The staff were nothing but friendly, polite and happy to have a small chat to create a more personable atmosphere. The restaurant staff were also very attentive and good at their jobs, I made sure to thank the chefs for beautiful food, who were happy to interact. All of this brings a professional yet inviting feel to a place. The pool was also moody and unique and it was beautiful to swim in at night. Very clean and pleasant, as was the sauna. This place is fun if you’re a bit over the usual hotel decor styles. I will say that the boasted artwork by some random artist on the wall in the room is just wood on a circle, it’s perfect in the room but I didn’t see the need to go on and on about it online, in the booklet in the room, and anywhere else it could be used as a selling point which became ridiculous. We also found the neon art installations on the walls in the hallways quite harsh on the eyes and ill suited to the aesthetic of the hotel. Honestly, they’re horrible. We also felt parking at $25 per night was pretty steep for hotel guests, $15 would have been a little more fair. And that’s all I have to say negatively about the hotel! Will return happily whenever we’re in Canberra!!
