This is the best Marriott I’ve stayed at globally. By far. I travel routinely for business and I’m lifetime Marriott gold. The rooms and amenities are extraordinary. Indoor pool. Great fitness center. Free minibar. Awesome cocktail bar and restaurant. Even better, located centrally and walkable with a 24 hour laundromat IN THE COMPLEX. That provides detergent. Saunas. Heated pool. I’m in awe. Edit anyone complaining about the gym didn’t realize they have two gyms and one is huge, even a rowing machine.
Stayed at the midnight for almost a month with my family - excellent hotel! The staff was top notch, especially front desk and breakfast team! We had two rowdy little kids and the team was still so kind. The gym is decent. I tried the pool once, but it was too crowded at the time. I absolutely love that they replenish your mini bar every day. We had issues with the parking garage (car park) not accepting our validated ticket, but it wasn’t a big deal. The location is excellent - lots of great restaurants nearby.
Located in the heart of Canberra. The hotel gives a dark vibe which I didnt see anywhere. Quiet room, hence peacefully slept. Good bathroom and especially liked the coffee maker, made my morning fancy. Nothing extraordinary. Minibar could had some food in it. Overall nice experience. Would stay again.
Rooms are very small. Generally clean, except my bed quilt had bloodstains on it. Minibar was complimentary but very limited selection, but grateful for it. When I booked, I mentioned that I had a disability but I my room or its location wasn't accommodated for my disability. The location was central to lots of restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was included in our pricing. The food was delicious.
I stayed here for about two months in total. The staff are quite helpful. If you are a Marriott member the breakfast is a choice from a small fixed menu. The “large” room is very very small and cramped. There is no cellular reception inside and the internet is unreliable. There are only two extremely slow elevators for the entire hotel. You will spend half the day waiting for the elevator. The gym equipment randomly restarts and there is just a single lane pool. Parking is not free. It’s near the city center and a bunch of pretty good restaurants.
