I recently stayed at the Dorsett Hotel Melbourne and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is perfect, nestled in the heart of Melbourne and conveniently close to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and the main train station. The customer service truly stood out. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The service was exceptional throughout my stay, making me feel right at home. A special mention goes to Omar, who assisted us with our requests. His friendliness and professionalism were top-notch and made our stay even more memorable. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, though I did notice that toothbrushes and robes were available only upon request, which was a slight inconvenience. However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise perfect stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Dorsett Hotel Melbourne and will definitely return. The exceptional customer service, particularly from Omar, is what makes this hotel truly special. Five stars!

We stayed over for my partners birthday. The hotel took note that it was her birthday, and Blair came to the room, balloons,chocolates, and handwritten card signed by the staff, which was a lovely touch. We have stayed here a few times, and it's always a pleasant stay. My only complaint would be the use of the pool by kids at all times, we were trying to unwind after a busy day at around 9.30pm in the jacuzzi but was interrupted by kids splashing us and jumping in and out. Rooms are always clean and modern with a lovely lavazza coffee machine and pods.

We stayed on a Friday Night at The Dorsett. Place was busy. Had to wait awhile to check in as it was their busy time. Check in process was smooth and efficient. Staff were friendly. We were upgraded to a room with balcony. Can't fault this hotel. The shower pressure was fabulous, water was hot and the towels super fluffy and white. The bed was super large with soft pillows. Had the best sleep ever too. The rooms are well appointed with lovely gold and marble accents in the bathroom. Did find that the bathroom sliding door was difficult to open/close otherwise no complaints whatsoever. I used the swimming pool, it was busy with school holidays, kids splashing around having the time of their lives. There's a kids play area downstairs with arcade games, pinball, space invaders (old school ) and since it was school holidays, bean bags and a TV set up for free movies with popcorn. Great fun for the little ones. Highly recommend ☆☆☆☆

We had a wonderful stay at Dorsett as we celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great location and good atmosphere. Staff have been really friendly and helpful especially the front Office Manager Min Young who made sure we enjoy our stay. Staff at the reception were all so great. Everything about the hotel was awesome and exceptional. The room was clean, stylish, spacious and so comfortable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Thanks Chef Paolo for assisting us. Food was excellent and delicious. So many to choose from. We'll definitely come back again. We had a great time staying at the hotel.

**Hotel Review: Mixed Experience** I recently stayed at Dorsett Melbourne , and my experience was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the interior design of the hotel is good, with a modern and stylish aesthetic that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is another good point , offering a nice variety of options to start the day. However, there were several significant drawbacks that detracted from my stay: - The breakfast area capacity is limited, resulting in long wait times to be seated. On one occasion, I had to wait for up to 15 minutes, which is something I’ve never encountered at any other hotel. -The indoor pool, advertised as heated, was disappointingly cold. The water temperature was so low that it was unusable, which was a major letdown. -Cleanliness in the room was subpar. I requested extra blankets, but they arrived smelly, suggesting they hadn’t been washed for a long time. Additionally, the cleaners didn’t change the used towels, which is very unusual for a 4-star hotel. -The staff experience was inconsistent. While some staff members were nice and polite, others were unfriendly and unhelpful, which gave an impression of poor management overall. Given these issues, particularly the cleanliness and service inconsistencies, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. There are certainly some redeeming qualities, but the negatives outweigh the positives for me.
