Reviews for Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel

I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. I thought it was a little bit pricey at first but once I got to my room and had a look around I was reassured by the quality and standard that it was worth every penny. I will definitely stay again on my next visit here. I would say one member of staff was a little bit rude upon checking in but the exceptionally good staff that I experienced from there on, definitely outweighed that experience by a country mile. I'm quite sad to leave this homely like hotel and very grateful that I found it. :)

I recently stayed at Oaks Melbourne and had an exceptional experience. This hotel offers the best value for money, with spacious, well-maintained rooms and breathtaking views. The service was outstanding, making our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to Mr. Stuart, whose cooperation and efforts were truly appreciated. He managed to get us a complimentary upgrade to a top-floor room, providing us with an incredible view that made our trip unforgettable. Additionally, he arranged a complimentary baby crib for us, which was a great help. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction truly made a difference. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This hotel does not feel like 4 star, Stayed in 1706 last week The bathroom floor was covered in plaster debris from a recent repair, as per picture, the noise transference from the neighboring room was very poor likely due to the door between them. Bathroom and kitchen outdated, tv was small menus were very slow to change the channel and pool and spa close at 10pm so I didn't get a chance to use them. Room service also closed at 10pm so I had to get some food elsewhere after i got back to the hotel. Breakfast and customer service was good and they have a good $60 late checkout option. I did not bother reporting the bathroom floor plaster mess as i did not want cleaners in the room when i couldn't be there. I think i will look for a better option next time however the location for me was handy.

Room is big but the aircon is noisy even when it's off, there was plastic wrap on the smoke alarm and the bath tub is stupidly tall while also lacking in hand rails. The sound on the tv also just straight up doesn't workz insisting another device is controlling volume. Facilities wise, breakfast was nice but the spa lacks steps, has a large screw poking out of the bottom, a single large pipe in the middle for bubbles which is uncomfortable and you have to go down a lift, down some stairs then up some stairs to get to recreation services. God knows how anyone with a disability was meant to get down there.
