We had a great stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. Although we had submitted a request for a paid upgrade and didn’t receive any confirmation beforehand, the receptionist was able to assist us promptly upon check-in, which we really appreciated. Overall, the service was excellent and contributed to a positive experience.

Couple of things about the stay. One, there was night construction outside our bedroom window. This was not advised when making the booking and would have stayed elsewhere knowing. We had our toddler with us and with that going on, he kept waking up. Two, our room was supposedly premium though was so tired and old I felt like I should’ve gone around and given it a paint and some plastering. Felt like it hadn’t had live since the 90’s. Three, parts weren’t very clean. When in the shower I noticed black grit coming from behind the wall tiles when they got wet. Four, the bulkhead in the bathroom was too low and made it hard to shower. Felt very closed in and claustrophobic. Five, not a big one but we had 3 people staying and only ever received two towels when the cleaners reset the room. Six, dishwasher didn’t work properly. Seven, AC wasn’t great and the bedroom always felt hot. Maintenance came and gave it a shunt though it seemed like at 3am I had to ‘kick it on’ again by playing with the temp. We had it on the lowest possible setting and whilst it was ‘warmer’ weather it wasn’t hot outside but the room was. This lead to my wife, my son and me waking up during the night. Eight, the mattress was too soft. Keep falling off the sides of the bed. Lastly, the towel rack in the bathroom was above the toilet. I think you can imagine how this is not sanitary. That’s all. Staff were great and helpful always. Location was good but just the room let us down.

This was a great hotel and will definitely be staying here again. The parking was easy to locate, which isn't always the case, and once inside the pleasant reception staff advised a complementary upgrade to an apartment had been applied. They had no issue combing a booking that my partner made for 2 nights and I made for the third night. Parking was $40 per night which is competitive, and it's self park so if you need to go and drive no issues. The pool was nice, although middle of winter there was a breeze once out but good to have the option. The attached cafe is competent, with good coffee. I can highly recommend this place on the basis of nice rooms, great location, and friendly staff.

Stayed at the Sebel several times in the last 2 years. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. The big breakfast was BIG! The rooms serviced, coffee, tea, etc...are restocked everyday. Very pleasant stay

The staffs were really nice and try to accommodate our needs. But there was construction just outside the hotel which carries out till around 2-3am at night. Even though they upgraded our room, there was another humming noise in the room but didn’t bother to ask again. For the price of more than 300AUD per night, the hotel is also a bit old and not too worthy. Chose the hotel because of the reviews saying it’s quiet , so quite disappointed. They could have mentioned about the construction work on the website so people could avoid if noise is a concern. Otherwise, location is great, staffs are amazing, washing machine in the one bed apartment is very convenient.
