Reviews for Kennigo Hotel Brisbane

The room was simple but modern, clean, and had everything you could need - TV, fridge, bedside tables, and even a little bench with a bar stool. For the price, it was excellent value. The location was great, and having a coffee shop right on the ground level was such a bonus, breakfast was good and the coffee was spot on. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, we couldn’t fault the place for what we paid.

The staff are absolutely amazing. Michell and Ebony helped us with all our requests. Hotel is lovely as well, the balcony in our room was very spacious and the beds were super comfortable. We have already booked our next stay with them!

Absolutely not worth $700 – avoid this hotel Our experience was unacceptable from the start. In the first room, there were questionable white stains on the pillow — unhygienic and off-putting. Then I went to brush my teeth and found the sink completely clogged. A staff member offered to use a strong product to fix it, but I have asthma, so I told her it wasn’t worth the risk and asked to change rooms. For $700 over two nights, this hotel is nowhere near four-star quality. One front desk staff member was unprofessional and dismissive — not trained in customer service at all. A Spanish staff member tried her best to help, but it was clear the issues were beyond her role. We paid $40 per person, per day for breakfast — not worth it. You can only choose one item, and the food comes cold because the kitchen is offsite. Even bar staff seemed exhausted and underpaid. Housekeeping left used day products inside the bed after cleaning, and didn’t even take away dirty glasses. I rarely leave reviews, but I don’t want anyone else wasting money on this place. In this economy, charging that much for such poor service is disgraceful. There are far better hotels in the area — save your money

What a little gem. Fantastic little Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Room we stayed in was a little small, but extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were amazing and very helpful. We would stay here again. Thank you for an awesome stay.

I was there as part of a small conference. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly, warm and attentive. The conference room was lovely and the food was excellent. I don't stay in hotels much and I thought the room facilities very clean and perfect for a two night stay. The location was great: after sitting all day is was close enough for a decent walk along the river.
