Arrived and parked underneath, parking cost around $30 as an add on. Put luggage away and went out right away. Wasn't until I returned later that night and next morning did I realise how filthy the room was. There was hair and a false finger nail on the nightstand, all caught up in the phone cord..🤢 To make a cup of tea, the milk in fridge was open and had spilt through the fridge. Had to go ask for more milk. Behind the curtains and in the corners was full of dust. In saying that the lobby was nice and reception was happy to give more towels. The room was very small, one chair at the tea and snack area and one chair at a small desk, had a few snacks and some alcohol. Room service was available. Ordered breakfast from the coffee bar in the lobby. Poached eggs were not soft. For the price of the room, I was expecting it to be much cleaner. There are other hotels in the area much cheaper with bigger rooms and nicer facilities.
The reception lady, who was taking care of me during check-in in the morning of 2Jan, was really friendly and helpful. She does her job with smiles and it definitely was a good start of my day. Thank you so much for always being so nice. 🩷 The hotel room can be so small sometimes, depending on your luck. The location is not really convenient, but there is a Woolworths within walking distance.
I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Due to a flight disruption, I checked in late at 11 PM and requested a late check-out, but it wasn’t confirmed at the time, which is understandable. However, the next morning, I discovered there was no water in the shower, making it impossible to freshen up before leaving. Despite this issue, I received two reminders at 11:00 AM urging me to vacate the room, which was frustrating given the lack of basic amenities. The receptionist informed me that a $20 late check-out fee would apply past 11:00 AM. I checked out at 11:25 AM and was charged $24.95 in total—$20 for late check-out and $4.95 for a small bottle of water. It’s quite disappointing that this hotel doesn’t even provide complimentary water for guests. Overall, this was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. I do not recommend staying here.
Convenient location to walk to entertainment precinct and explore downtown Brisbane. I didn't need an accessible room this time but I was happy to have one and found the bathroom facilities very well set up for a wheelchair user. Good to know for future travels with my companion who does use a wheelchair. Can report that the twin bed set up however doesn't leave much room for a chair to maneuver. The switches and glassware are within seated reach. Recommend bringing a grippy/non-slip floor mat for safety in the shower. I didn't spend much time in the room this trip, the bedroom was small but the bathroom was large, no view to speak of but clean, modern and bed was comfortable.
Absolutely perfect for a one night stay! Super comfortable rooms and beds. The only problem I had was realising there was no conditioner in the dispenser mid-shower so had to get out half way through to call for more!
