We stayed in interconnected rooms, which worked well for our family. When we arrived around 12:30pm, one of the rooms was ready, and the reception kindly allowed us to check in early. However, the second room was not available until well after the official check-in time of 2pm, only becoming ready around 2:40, which was frustrating after returning from lunch expecting the room to be prepared. Once in the room, we noticed a patch of wet carpet near the interconnected door, which detracted from the otherwise clean and modern facilities. There were also some functionality and design concerns. The very small step between the bathroom and the main room could pose a tripping hazard, particularly for young children—we had to constantly remind our kids to be careful. Additionally, the shower temperature was difficult to adjust—it took an unusually long time to cool down from extremely hot, which was both inconvenient and potentially unsafe. Another disappointing experience was when I inquired about the breakfast prices at check-in. The staff member informed me that breakfast costs $38 for adults and that kids also had to pay. I vaguely remembered seeing a “kids eat free” promotion, so I double-checked the hotel’s website after getting to our room. Sure enough, the website clearly stated that buffet breakfast costs $32 for adults and kids eat free. When I went back to clarify, the staff admitted that the promotion only applies to bookings made online, but this was not communicated initially. This lack of transparency left a poor impression, as the staff could have explained this properly the first time. On a positive note, the staff at the lobby bar and Dapl restaurant were friendly and welcoming, and the food was decent, which added to the overall experience.

Surprised in a pleasant way actually - interiors of rooms are very modern & beautifully decorated (look at their updated website not Google images) I forgot to take photo when I arrived. Nice clean modern bathroom & fixings- friendly staff, 24hr check in & extremely convenient location. Great price - will be back.

We recently stayed here and had constant issues. Over charged and double charged for things, problems with the TV and chrome cast. Room felt humid/sticky, there is no quilt cover on the quilt it’s just between 2 sheets and the quilt was dirty we could see stains on it once we realized and holes in the sheets. Bed is extremely uncomfortable has left us both with sore backs and our room was never properly cleaned/serviced most they did was give us new towels, rubbish wasn’t taken out, bed was never made, shampoo/body was wasn’t replaced. Carpets looked dirty as well. Some staff were nice/helpful but a lot were also rude especially the ones working in the restaurant, I think she was the manager her attitude was awful and she was extremely rude. no communication from the wait staff they just come over and take your plates/drinks without saying anything or asking if done. No welcoming/greeting from anyone, customer service was appalling. The pool layout is also extremely underwhelming and uninviting. For a 5 star hotel you would expect a lot better, treatment and quality wise. Overall extremely disappointed with our stay here. Will not be coming back here and we definitely would not recommend it based on our experience.

Exceptional Service at Hotel Amora Brisbane. Facilities all amazing, pool (highly recommend cannonballing) gym excellent ✨✨ My stay at Hotel Amora Brisbane was unforgettable, thanks to the amazing team. Luke, the bartender, brought incredible energy and positivity. May (love your chopsticks) at reception made my first post-divorce birthday without my children so special with her warmth and empathy. Fernanda 🥰, Giuseppe(I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong) the Belgium basketball guy, Laurdette the angelic cleaner from the Philippines big loves girl you made me feel so safe, Wendy at reception 🥰, and Reuben for their kindness and professionalism. Their understanding and compassionate care truly stood out. To those whose names I can’t recall, you were equally amazing. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed and valued. Highly recommend this incredible hotel. Good vibes ✨✨✨✨✨

Amore hotel is literally in the heart of Brisbane. Fortitude Valley, Story Bridge, Brisbane Center are all within walking distance of 7-10 minutes. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are big and clean. The beds are too soft. You can use the multi-entry car park under the hotel. It was a pleasant holiday. I would like to thank all the staff.
