The rooms and facilities are comfortable and the staff are really wonderful at this welll-located Spring Hill hotel. From the moment I walked in to my checkout, all the staff were kind, attentive and efficient. My room on the 14th floor was beautiful, immaculately clean with a city view, and the bathroom well equipped with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was wonderfully quiet. The outdoor pool on the 2nd floor is a great spot to unwind in the sunshine, and there is a decent gym. I was delighted I pre-booked breakfast, as the freshly cooked eggs were beautiful and the coffee was excellent. All in all a great stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here on a weeknight for a work trip and overall had a comfortable experience. Check‑in was smooth and easy, and we were given a welcome drink on arrival. We opted for a tap beer, though both kegs happened to be out of action at the time, so we ended up with a bottled option instead. We were upgraded to a Premier Room on level 13, which was a nice gesture, though the upgrade didn’t really offer much benefit. The view overlooked the neighbouring apartment building, so while you could see straight into someone’s living room, there wasn’t any city skyline to enjoy. That said, the room itself was very clean, the bathroom was a great size, and the bath towels were excellent. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The only frustration was the air‑conditioning, which kept resetting itself to 24 degrees, so we had to continually adjust it back down to 18 to keep the room cool. Breakfast was included in our rate and offered a generous selection of hot and cold options. The scrambled eggs were a little dry, but everything else looked fresh and well presented. One downside was a slight sewage smell around the lift areas, which wasn’t pleasant. Parking was $40 on weekdays and $15 on weekends. Despite a few minor issues, the location is great, the room rate was one of the best around, and we’d likely stay again.

My partner and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Amora Hotel whilst visiting Brisbane for a special occasion and event. Overall we were very pleased with everything. Check in was very quick and easy and we were treated to a free room upgrade upon arrival. The room itself was clean, spacious and the bed was comfy. The view was also good as well. The location of the hotel is also good as it's within a 5 minute walk to Central Station and was not too far to other places like South Bank. The room we were in was also quiet with no sound coming from the roads outside. The staff were all lovely and helpul and attentive. If I had to chose one thing that the hotel could improve on, it would be the buffet breakfast. I think there needs to be a bigger variety of food on offer as we found the same dishes were being offered the whole time we were there. In addition to this, I think it would be good if they could add 1 or 2 more coffee machines, as we found ourselves queuing in front of the one coffee machine for a while each morning given the amount of people there were. With that being said, this hotel still deserves a 5 star review as the good very much outweighed the bad (that being breakfast). I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Brisbane.

We had three rooms booked for three nights over the weekend of the Edinburgh Tattoo. Check in was straightforward and easy, which was great considering it was three rooms - the staff member was lovely. We’d also booked a wheelchair for the weekend, which was promptly brought out. The hotel and rooms are lovely - a nice, calming decor. Beds so comfortable, great size rooms and bathroom, very quiet (no road noise or from the rooms next door) plenty of storage and very clean. Location to the city was very handy - 10 minute walk to the mall and also down to the river to catch a ferry. The only part that reduces the rating is food. First morning we had breakfast at the cafe. It wasn’t busy but food service was very slow. One meal didn’t come out until the other 6 had finished and only after asking - they said the kitchen was very busy (shared kitchen with the hotel restaurant) Room service meal - very burnt sweet potato fries and dry spinach and ricotta cannelloni. They did kindly remove the cost of the fries. Drinks at the bar were good although 2 drinks on the menu couldn’t be supplied to to being out of ingredients. Also, some of the bar snacks ordered didn’t come out as listed on the menu We enjoyed our weekend and the hotel. It’s just a shame that the food lets it down.

We enjoyed the location, it helped us explore the city easily. Room size was excellent in the Queen room. Great shower and handy balcony for fresh air. The food in the restaurant was great and the whole hotel was really clean and easy to navigate. Great stay, recommend for short or longer stays.
