Thanks Amora for a fantastic stay to celebrate my birthday. The room was by the far the biggest I've ever stayed in and everything was spotless and beautifully styled. Buffet breakfast was delicious too - plenty of options, nice and fresh and kept well topped up.
Had a luxurious overnight stay at Amora Hotel. Impressive modern room with spotless cleanliness and stylish bathroom. The pool area is fantastic! Only minor issue was the shower only provided hot water (thankfully not scalding). Overall excellent experience - will definitely return for another indulgent stay!
This is not a 5 star hotel! To be 5 stars you need to offer facilities like a spa and have exceptional service. We were never told that cash would not be accepted. Our card was charged before we saw the invoice and this had to be requested. Apparently their policy is to bill the customer the night before departure before you get to check the invoice so beware! I was annoyed because this was our last stop after travelling for a month and therefore we didn't have a lot of currency left on the card. Had we seen the invoice, we could have ensured sufficient funds were on the card. I requested to speak to the duty manager. The breakfast manager assured me we would be spoken to but they never came! Breakfast...the buffet isn't labelled properly, some areas, there are no labels and some there is a list of what to find on the table in small print so bring your glasses. Then you have to decide for yourself which item is which. Your dishes are never cleared until you leave or unless you pile your plates up high and even then they will clear the pile but not come back to take away the dirty glasses. Some guests would either place their dirty plates on another table or on the service desk! A majority of the staff are not friendly....too busy setting up tables to care about the guests that are actually there!
I wholeheartedly recommend Amora Brisbane. Our stay exceeded expectations, and none of the negative comments we saw on Google Maps matched our experience. We stayed in Room 1017, which was fresh, dry, and exceptionally quiet — we couldn’t hear a sound at night. The blackout curtains were fantastic, allowing our entire family to enjoy 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping, was genuinely warm, friendly, and patient, which made us feel truly welcome. While the hotel sits on a small hill, the incline is only slightly noticeable when pushing luggage or a stroller, and even then, it’s a short stretch. For anyone simply walking, it’s barely noticeable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, peaceful hotel near Central Station, Amora Brisbane is a choice you can trust with confidence.
Beautiful hotel at the convenient location. Customer service was exceptional. Rooms are very pretty and very clean. The one thing that is recommended to install clothes drying lanes in bathrooms as we didn’t know how to dry our swimwear after the pool.
