We had such a lovely stay at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful foyer and lounge area. We actually spent a few of our evenings just relaxing in the lounge and enjoying drinks by the bar. Our room was big and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, which made it super convenient to walk everywhere. Be warned, it is a bit hilly, but honestly, it was a fun way to explore and our calves looked amazing by the end of the week. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the pool as much as we would’ve liked. Since we stayed in the off-season, we pretty much had the common areas all to ourselves, which was a nice bonus. Overall, such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space. Great service, great location, and good vibes all around. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

My wife and I stayed while attending the Luke Combs concert earlier in the year and can't say a bad thing about the stay. The lobby and bar area is a great place to relax and unwind and can't fault the rest of the amenities. Room was clean and spacious so would definitely consider staying there again. I would love to know what the scent is that is used in the main reception area, if anyone is kind enough to share what it is I would appreciate it.

They say it’s 5 star hotel but it lacks a lot of the basics. The drive way entry is so dirty, full of leaves and stained stairs. There is no welcome at the door or help with any bags. There is no complimentary water in the rooms. The fridge is empty with only a carton of milk. I did ask and they said it was not on my room booking. The hotel pride themselves on being environmentally sustainable yet supply you with small plastic bottles of soap, when a refill in the shower would help more. I am not being fussy but you want to feel luxury in a 5 star hotel on holiday and this isn’t it. I did bring this up with front staff and honestly they are really nice and they said it’s an unfortunate management issue. The rooms are really nice though on a positive note. Refurbed really nice and the king bed is really comfy. The TV could use some streaming services though. Also a city brochure would help first time travellers although the location is perfect. Right by central station and a short walk to the river front. I would just like to know how it’s 5 star vs other hotels that provide everything. I would highly question their 5 star accreditation and where it came from.

This hotel is one of the most unfortunate cases of 'bad location' I've experienced. This hotel clearly is putting in the effort, the service is top notch, check in and check out is seamless, the rooms are great, and the in-house dining is pretty good too. My room (The Amora King) was well set up for a single person but I would not recommend it for two or more. The desk (only good place to eat) only has a single chair, and the couch is a bit cramped and not well angled for the TV. For a single person though it's excellent and has just about everything you would need other than a kitchen. The whole thing was very nice and clean. If a review mentions loud construction work ignore it - the work is done from what I've seen. The amenities are ok. The pool is pretty nice and it's outdoor so less chlorine. The Sauna is a nice bonus but it's too small for more than 2 people, and the gym itself is not very well equipped for more than basic exercise. Unfortunately from there it's all downhill. Literally. Getting to anywhere from this hotel means going down a big hill, and then coming back up that big hill. This includes the train station. The bus lines used to help a lot with this, but due to factors outside Amora's control they have now changed to make that not the case anymore. This is a huge shame because this is a fantastic hotel, and if you don't mind carrying groceries uphill this is a solid recommend from me.

We stayed at the Amora Hotel last week (September 25 - 28). My husband and I fully enjoyed our three-day stay. We felt welcomed and we loved the service provided throughout our time there. The staff were friendly and always ready to help whenever we needed it. Thank you to all the staff at Amora Hotel Brisbane for looking after us well.
