Our impressive Ballroom is perfect for sophisticated and stylish events. With marble flooring and flexible seating arrangements, the space can accommodate up to 380 guests for a seated dinner or 500 guests cocktail style. Our onsite Audio-Visual specialists offer projection on up to five large screens, plus plasma screens, as well as audio sound for seamless dancing and speeches. The Ballroom can also be separated into two medium spaces for mid-size events. The InterContinental Adelaide may be Adelaide's grand dame, but its classic charm needs a refresh. However, the service is impeccable, from friendly check-in to attentive room service. The true star is the bathroom - exquisite marble and luxurious appointments create a fantastic retreat. While a bit pricey, this hotel is a strong contender for a luxurious stay, but be prepared for a touch of tradition.

This hotel still looks so fresh and clean after all of these years. Dateless and Opulent. I remember working with the construction of this hotel back in the late 80's. It looks as good as new because it was built with proper materials and the red granite still shines on! Wow what a breakfast too, probably the best in Adelaide. Even the juice came in individual bottles, and table service included whatever coffee or tea you desired as part of the package. Service was 10/10. Room was clean and practical. Would recommend this to all my friends and none of my enemies. :)

My recent stay at Intercontinental was overall pleasant, primarily due to its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently situated near key attractions and amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. However, the interior of the hotel is outdated. While the rooms were alright and the staff provided good service. Despite this, the convenience of the location made my stay worthwhile.

Loved everything about this hotel. Beds extremely comfortable and pillows were divine. On the Thursday night when we arrived the valet was very full and a little trouble with getting bags and then moving car to convention centre car park which is not free parking for guests.(expensive 4 days or parking) however the location and rooms were fabulous. Would highly recommend and would stay here again (without a car) view from our room was lovely overlooking the oval

Today we came for a buffet breakfast, we hadnt stayed at the hotel but were made to feel as if we had! Daniel greeted us upon arrival in the Restaurant and was so welcoming and friendly which made us feel important regardless! Breakfast was amazing, so many choices and the staff were attentive & friendly! We look forward to visiting again and will be making a booking to stay overnight! Highly recommended!
