We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were on the third floor so it was convenient to the bar and restaurant area. The coffee was great. Breakfast was amazing. The hallway near the rooms could do with a bit of deodorizing, as could the shower in our room. We really liked the beehives on the roof top garden and the information that went along with that. The bee socks were great.

Stayed for two nights and no complaints. We checked in late in the night and they were really sweet to upgrade our room even. Breakfast was pretty good, you get plenty of options with everything. The staff is very helpful and they can be flexible to suite your needs as well.

Overall, the bar and restaurant service was terrific. The food was delicious and was delivered promptly. My room didn't have coffee pods or a water setup. After I called reception to get this fixed, nothing happened. Quite disappointing considering this is my second attempt at giving the hotel another chance to redeem itself after last year's horror stay.

I absolutely love this hotel, reasonable price, great quality, beautiful room and bathroom, clean, great restaurant. Room service is yummy but it would be great if they expanded it a bit! I was very disappointed however with the cold pool water and cold pool room on a 13 degree winter day. Defeats the purpose of having an indoor pool. It's the 2nd time I have stayed here and the pool was cold on both occasions.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The manager, Michael, was incredibly condescending and dismissive, both with me and his staff. It was uncomfortable to witness, and it really made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. Additionally, the furniture in the restaurant was in poor condition. The chairs were not only unattractive, with ugly bus/ train seat like colors, but also had large, noticeable stains, which gave the space an unclean and outdated vibe. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better attention to detail and upkeep. Also the dim lighting at night time is so unsafe, I tripped over my bag and nearly twisted my ankle. Could barely even read the menu. This is not ideal. While the location is good, the view is ugly I am looking at a carpark, the superior staff and the state of the hotel left much to be desired. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and makes some much-needed improvements. Also it gets so smokey in the restaurant, can’t even breathe. Not sure if it’s ideal having the grill in the middle of the restaurant, maybe check if your exhaust fans are working properly. Thanks.
