Eureka 89 boasts what might be the best view in Melbourne: a sweeping vista of the city skyline and way, way beyond, through floor-to-ceiling windows and from the vantage point of the iconic Eureka Tower. If that alone isn't enough to prompt potential event planners to get in touch, the venue also boasts enough space for 400, and facilities to accommodate groups as small as 20 guests. Corporate events, weddings and private celebrations are all easily hosted within Eureka 89. Use the venue exclusively, or split it into two separate sections.
The Southern Point of the venue is especially notable, with a custom-designed private bar and spectacular chandelier to make proceedings even more memorable. Eureka 89 isn't a venue for casual get-togethers or a bunch of beers on the weekend. Rather, we recommend this space for sophisticated cocktail parties or milestone celebrations or corporate functions that need to leave an impression.

We dined as a couple and had the most wonderful evening. From the moment we walked in the entry door, we were greeted by lovely staff and made welcome. We had the 6 course degustation which was one of the best dining and flavor experiences either of us have ever had. They use a lot of local produce which is nice. The cocktails were unique and moreish! Our waiter Karen explained every element of the dishes and made sure we were looked after the whole night. She made us feel relaxed so we could take our time, soak in the view and even asked us if we would like her to take a photo of the two of us before leaving. The view was phenomenal (watched the sun set!) and even the music playing was perfect for the setting. Honestly so happy with our experience and definitely recommend for a special night out! :)

Very delicious food however, didn't like the fact that you had to travel up to the restaurant in the same lift as people viewing the skydeck. A private lift would've made it more enjoyable as we were in a very busy lift in our finest outwear. Once at the top and seated we noticed that the windows were so dirty with fingerprints, bird poop, droplet marks. I understand you cannot clean all the time but you're paying for the view and my view was dirty windows! Value for money was not there in my eyes

We had the 8 course set menu from here. Food wise, I'd say its ok. Certainly better places out there for the amount of money you'll be paying here. Service is top notch and really appreciated everyones friendliness. The views cannot be matched in Melbourne. I guess thats what you'd be coming here for.

This fine dining restaurant at the top of the building offers both exceptional service and delicious food. It's the perfect spot for celebrating special events with friends and family, or even for a romantic dinner. We had an amazing time at Eureka 89, Nhu our waitress was lovely and talked us through the whole menu and wine pairings, her service was 10/10. As did the other wait staff. The whole evening was wonderful! Would definitely recommend. We will most certainly come back when we return to Melbourne as well as recommending to our friends and family!
