I had a wonderful stay at this hotel over the weekend! The location is absolutely perfect, especially if you rely on public transport – it’s conveniently close to the train station and bus stops, making it easy to get around. It’s also within walking distance to some of the best attractions the city has to offer, including the WA Museum. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me when my plans changed at the last minute. They sorted out an extra night for me with no hassle. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, I felt it offered great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city, whether you're here for business or leisure!
Great location. Service is average. Rooms not always cleaned well. Shower doors don’t seal & leave giant puddles. WiFi is spotty at best and/or non-existent at times. The only positive is the location. Not a good location if you are here for business.
I was on level 1. No windows or natural ventilation. A/C only goes down to 22 degrees. The reception was kind enough to provide a pedestal fan. Good location, close to everything. Probably would spend a few more dollars and stay somewhere else.
We had a suite on the 9th floor. The best part was the view of roof tops. The kitchenettes was useless as there was nothing in it except a coffee machine two glasses and two mugs. Not even milk for the coffee and tea . Asked at reception and was told initially that housing would sort tomorrow??? The air-conditioning did not work properly and could not cook the room down at all. It was oppressive and uncomfortably warm. Women from reception came and assessed the controls were correct and offered us a fan at first and then an alternative ordinary room . Paying a premium price and getting this as a resolution was most upsetting as my wife chose the room on viewing in line. Very misleading . In the end we were moved to another hotel in the group . We of course had to repack and walk there at 9 o'clock at night. This room should not be let as I understand it is a continual issue. The staff member who looked after us I could not speak more highly of. Management should not put their staff in such a ludicrous position to defend their failings. Don't book this hotel .
Located only a few blocks away from the city centre, Murray St. mall, Perth bus port, and the train station. And plenty of nightlife located practically over the road, Ibis Hotel is in a great location. For the price I paid for the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, comfortable, and modern the room was.
