Steer clear - While the staff did their best the rooms are far below a 4 star hotel. The bottom sheet on my bed didn't even fit/ the cleaners didn't bother to find one that did fit, so my feet were touching the bare mattress...I booked a queen room and was given a double bed (I'm tall and paid a higher price for a queen), the sheets were stained in places and smelled like the inside of an Indian restaurant. While the website and foyer give the illusion of a nice hotel this place is far from it!!

Tried to change for missing mini bar items that we didn't use at all, phone call and a quick refund happened, was a bit of a disappointment that this happened. I wonder if they just try it on everyone or if maids sometimes don't check after last guests and different maids do and than you pay for someone else's drinks 🤔. All in all its a pleasant stay.

This hotel should not be claiming to be 4 stars. It is at best one. We booked and paid for 3 nights. Each day we asked via the only tag in our room to be clean. Day 3 we got back to hotel the room smelt,the bed was not made, the same dirty glasses from day one were in same location. The bathroom was disgusting and the floor had not been vacuumed. We complained and was told oh we only change sheets after 3 consecutive nights and we should be charged a fee for it. After 2 hours and 2 calls to front desk we decided to go home a night early. The front door staff initially claimed it was might fault as i had requested a "green " option" when i asked for evidence they then claimed oh first day you hung this on your door. When I challenged them on the fact I had one hanger that said refresh the room the again blamed me. The room had broken furniture, the carpet had dirty stains and the bathroom was dirty on check in. After 3 days of it not being cleaned the room was revolting and the attitude of the manager on duty was to blame the customer and give us a card to call to complain.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is marketed as one of the richer or more premium 4-star options in the area. To be fair, the entrance and downstairs common areas do make a great first impression — the lobby is beautiful, and the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Their professionalism and friendliness gave me high hopes for the rest of the stay. However, once I stepped into the room, the experience took a noticeable downturn. The accommodation itself felt very outdated — from the worn furniture to the overall layout, it was clear that the rooms haven’t been refreshed in quite some time. There’s a sense that the space isn’t being utilised to its full potential, which is frustrating given the price point. It’s the kind of room that might have been impressive two decades ago, but now feels tired and neglected. For what the hotel is charging, I expected a much higher standard in the rooms — modern touches, better lighting, even just a feeling of comfort and freshness. Instead, the contrast between the elegant front-of-house areas and the dated rooms is so stark that it almost feels like two different hotels. It’s not the worst place I’ve stayed, and again, I can’t fault the staff — they’re doing a wonderful job with what they have. But for a hotel positioning itself at the higher end of the market, there’s a serious need for an upgrade upstairs. Until then, I’d consider exploring other options in the same price range.

The check in staff were amazing and the rooms were clean and comfy. I had a really nice stay! I did think it was weird being given tea and coffee but no kettle. I didn't realise this until the morning though and by that stage there was no point trying to get a kettle. Check out staff weren't so friendly and it felt like me just trying to check out was a burden to him and like I was an inconvenience. Not a huge fan of that. But the rooms were great and the facilities were well maintained and lovely.
