Gisela at the reception was very warm and welcoming. For me, it made the experience exceptional. Upon booking, my husband informed them that it's our son's first time in Canberra and when we got to the room, we found a card for him wishing us a great stay. It made him very happy. I love that there was a kitchenette that you can use. They have a tablet in the room which you can use to ring the reception, order things and find just about anything which we think was pretty cool. There's a lot of carpet though, so if you have dustmite allergy, you might want to ask for a room with less/no carpets. The staff are very attentive as well, when we called asking for some items, they delivered it straight away. There's a bar, an Italian restaurant and a Cafe downstairs so it's convenient (a bit pricey, though).

A lovely hotel, we only had the one night here but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly. We dined in the hotel italian restaurant and we did book in advance and were pleased we had as it was extremely busy! Lovely food as was the breakfast here the next day....would recommend the french toast it was wonderful!

Very reasonable tariff for considering the high standard. The staff were friendly and on the ball, the room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. Basement parking (at extra cost). We loved the hotel bar (Joe's) which was attractive and liveley. The Hotel restaurant (Agostini's) was great. Comfortable, good food excellent house wine and outstanding, friendly service. Some fine cafes only a few minutes away, although you can get a very decent breakfast and coffee at Agostini's. We are definitely coming again.

Right from the beginning you can tell this is going to be a beautiful please, Starting from outside it’s clean and tidy. Then you’ll be greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are incredible it was my 2nd time staying here and I stayed in two different rooms and they were both incredible, clean and up to date. I had forgotten my toothbrush which is no hassle, All I needed to do was pop onto the IPad in the room and order one which came to my door in less than five minutes that is very impressive. I travel a lot for work and this has to be my favourite place to stay as of yet and I’ll certainly be back again.

I am very please with the hotel services. My stay is fantastic. Rooms are very clean. The breakfast and dinner at the Agostini's is the best I have had so far. The Restaurant Hosts and Managers Troy and Clara (or Klara), Bree and Bri are simply the BEST! I would recomend the Hotel 101% and rate it 10! Simply because the Hotel has everything you need. The receptionists are very friendly and accomodating. I will come back and stay at the East Hotel on my next visit.
