A brilliant hotel located near the centre of Canberra. When you enter the hotel you are greater with a grand luxurious lower floor with a view of floors above a stunning Cafe and Spectacular restaurant all located in the Hotel reception. Room are accomodating with plenty of space and comforts provided additionally room service was astounding with options to order straight from the restaurant into your room. Has plenty of kid options and has a gyms and board rooms. A impeccable hotel suited to make your feel like royalty.

Recently stayed four nights. This is our fourth visit and the hotel does not disappoint. Our "room" was more like a self contained one bedroom apartment. It was fully fitted with kitchen and white goods equipment. There was a good size living area and a large screen tv, with a slightly smaller screen in the bedroom. The only slightly negative issue this visit was that several surfaces in the living area and bedroom were dusty and did not seem to have been recently cleaned. This is really unusual for this hotel. Secure underground parking is available. Reception staff always friendly and professional. Happy to recommend. We will certainly revisit when next in Canberra.

Lovely hotel, have stayed here plenty of times. Prices are comparable for a 2 bedroom apartment to other hotels. Staff is lovely. It’s a great hotel, and we will stay here again if we get a good price. Sometimes the price is much too high.

“COMPLIMENTARY ROOM UPGRADE FAIL” Do not get me wrong my wife and I had an amazing time and would recommend east hotel highly… BUT! Months ago I had booked our Room from our wedding night. After reading reviews, we were looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, while the location is amazing (right beside Kingston and Manuka, and the cricket oval), the rooms in our opinion are starting to date and need some work. The bathroom in particular was not cleaned properly and the shower was starting to look very old (marks on tiles etc). We also found the bed incredibly uncomfortable and the pillows weren’t fantastic either. Overall, it was okay, just not what we were expecting.
