Reviews for Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney

Be ware of the car park. It is not easy to navigate down. Very tight turns and easy to damage vehicle. We have stayed here twice. The rooms have been clean. But it is starting to date and maintenance needs to be completed on the premises. Staff were friendly. The location is the best thing about the hotel. Had a spa service. The room was cold and ac blowing straight on me. I had a hot stone massage, however, the masseuse ran the hot stones under cold water prior to using them on me. It was not pleasant to have cold dripping stones used on my back.

The hotel room was absolutely amazing, very soft beds and pillows, very well looked after with an amazing view into the city. The spa facilities were amazing, including the pool. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of variety, along with lunch. Good hotel location with the tram a small walk away. All staff members were absolutely lovely thank you for making my birthday memorable❤️

Bed was very comfortable. Room was a good size. View from the 14 floor out to the harbour was blocked by another building, but its a big city with lots of buildings. Can't expect every room to have a harbour view. Staff were lovely. Would stay here again.

Great location and comfortable beds. Unfortunately staff were rude and did minimal effort to provide a memorable stay. Concierge staff were great. Rooms outdated. Expected a lot more from a 5 star hotel. Deceiving advertising. Overall disappointing

Honestly this place has some pros and some cons. Overall this is not a bad place to stay, The good stuff 1. Amazing breakfast buffet if you pick a room that has breakfast included. 2. The facilities offered are pretty good. 3. The location is honestly great it is close to everything The not so good stuff 1. The televisions in the rooms are extremely outdated, the fact that it does not provide any access to.streaming services or you can not cast from your phone to the television is criminal for a supposed 5 star hotel. I've stayed in a cheap motel that had this feature the fact that a 5 star hotel doesn't is insane. 2. Water not being complementary is insane in 2025. Overall we had a great time staying here, the staff were friendly and the room was honestly beautiful as well as the location. The parking is really tiny but can not complain. Definitely needs to be more modernised technology wise and needs some work but overall was very happy.
