Wow! This hotel ticked all the boxes for me and my family. The location was unbeatable - right in the heart of Sydney CBD and close to the Circular Quay, steps from light rail services. The room was stylish and spotless, with a seriously comfortable bed with a stunning city view and a huge bathtub. I slept like a log! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect base to explore the city; highly recommended for family with kids as well.

My wife and I were not guests of the Hotel but we did attend the Christmas Day Lunch. What a Joy, Absolutely Brilliant. The Lunch was buffet style, but on steroids. The food was abundant, very well presented and with an extraordinary array of choices. Highlights were everywhere but I really loved the hot roast turkey, gorgeous cooked ham and seafood for miles. It was all simply delicious. The dining room had a terrific "Christmas Vibe" and was lovely. The staff were all amazing and made the day. A special mention for the Hotels Banquets Manager Mark Bennetts. Mark was on the floor with his staff and went above and beyond to make our day the positive experience it was. Thank You Mark. You are a Legend and an asset to the Hotel We can absolutely recommend the Christmas Lunch. Five Stars

Such a beautiful hotel! Amazing location and the staff go above and beyond. We had a great little weekend away last weekend and can’t wait to go back already! The bathroom in our room was literally to die for.. I’ll go back just for the bath tub over looking the city 😍

The location is the only good part of Amora Hotel Sydney, as it’s close to the city center and convenient for getting around. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The reception staff is inconsistent—some are kind and friendly, while others are outright rude. It feels like there’s no standard training for the team. The lift is outdated and problematic. It closes on people, has an unpleasant smell, and the card sensor often doesn’t work properly, requiring multiple attempts to register your floor. The room was okay, but the toilet wasn’t as clean as I’d expect from a hotel claiming to be five stars. On top of that, this is the first time I’ve seen a so-called 5-star hotel charge money for bottled water, which is shocking. Overall, I’d rate this as a 3-star experience at best. I’m honestly unsure how this hotel attained a 5-star rating.

This was our first time staying at the Amora and we loved it. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful 3 day stay before departing o our cruise. It's just a short walk to George Street and from there Sydney is yours to explore... So do yourself a favour
