Not so great. My son and I stayed at the Amora hotel for the first and the last time. Our room was big, but it was a bit dated and needed a renovation. The view was average, just into the building next door. The bathroom was good, but the furniture in the room needed an update, the carpet was old and the bath robes were worn out. No champagne glasses in the room. We were shocked when we discovered that the bottled water was not provided and they charged $6 per a 600 ml bottle!!! The lifts are old. The breakfast charge is $45 and the barista made coffee and omelets are extra. We had dinner at the Croft restaurant and it was okay, but we weren’t overly impressed, the service was good though. The sauna was cold, the steam room had a very unpleasant smell. There was no drinking water provided in a spa area. Overall not a 5 star hotel feeling.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over the long Anzac weekend to celebrate my birthday. Staff: The team were very professional and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Room: Although there was a problem with our initial room, the staff promptly relocated us to another room as compensation, which we appreciated. Dining: My girlfriend and I enjoyed dinner at The Croft on Level 1 for my birthday. The food was excellent, and the restaurant had a very upscale atmosphere—perhaps a little more formal than what we usually prefer. Nonetheless, the service was outstanding. If you enjoy fine dining, I would definitely recommend giving it a try. We also tried the buffet breakfast, which was great and definitely worth experiencing. However, if it’s not included with your room booking, be aware that it can be a bit pricey. Overall: The service across the hotel was great, and I would happily return for another stay. Minor issue: The lifts were a bit of a hassle as they are currently undergoing renovations, often leading to long wait times.
My stay at Amora Jamison Sydney during the Easter holidays was fantastic. The hotel’s location was perfect, close to key attractions. My room was spacious, modern, and comfortable with stunning city views. The service was exceptional, and the breakfast was delicious. A truly relaxing and luxurious experience! Definitely will come back ✨️
I got a very good deal, stayed 3 night during the school holidays, checked out on Easter Friday, everything was smooth no hustle. The room was clean, good view, convenient location. I used the pool. Love the sauna. Thank you for the complimentary glass of wine. The only complain is the fridge is too full with soft drinks, no room for own food, snacks. Plus the bar menu was not very interesting and quite expensive for that sort of food. Somebody has already mentioned the elevator, which did not work very well and took forever... But overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Would stay again if I can get a good deal.
It was such an amazing experience to have a dinner birthday celebration at AMORA Hotel. The Chef name Paco is excellent and the food served was great! Our family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the delicious food. Also, the one who served us name Lina was so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely come back to AMORA Hotel for they provide an excellent service and the place is beautiful! Thank you very much to Chef Paco & Croft restaurant at Amora Hotel.
