Where do I begin. I'm not sure you can put into words the disappointment my group and I felt when we attended at 7pm on Saturday, October 7th for my 40th birthday. Get comfortable, this is going to be a long one. After having a little difficulty in finding the restaurant, we were excited to finally find it and thought we were in for a treat. We certainly were mistaken. We jumped in the short queue and waited to reach the counter that divided the restaurant in half. Each half was secluded from the other for some random reason that we were later to find. When we got to the front, the girl was more like a sassy teenager than a rude Karen. Just about every table in the front section of the restaurant was available. We were seated right in the doorway. Talk about uncomfortable. But we didn't think it would be that bad. We get our menus and decide what we want. Approximately half an hour we were waiting to order. We didn't know if we were supposed to go to the counter or wait for table service. We were mindful that the booking confirmation made it clear you would have the table for 90 minutes, it was getting close to an hour with no food or staff in sight. We ordered one cocktail each, it tasted like rancid lemon juice. The food, when it finally arrived, tasted amazing. So delicious. The chicken wings are next level. By this time, though, almost 90 minutes of the same 5 songs being played over and over and over again at the loudest level right in our ears was getting a bit much. There's only so many times you can listen to WAP by Cardi B in a row. Plus everyone walking in to the restaurant staring at your food and bumping past you. So many empty tables in the front section but everyone was turned away due to not having a booking. Those tables were empty for more than 90 minutes, they weren't booked out. As we'd finished our meals, some Karen games started up in the rear of the restaurant led by the young man from the kitchen. They sounded like fun, however, we were not allowed to join in. To sum up, we were seated at the worst table even though our section was empty, it took over an our to get our food, we were ignored the whole time we were there except for ordering and being served, we were excluded from the entertainment and they had the hide to ask for a tip. Birthday dinner ruined. Considering I drove nearly 3 hours from Cessnock, I would've liked to have had some interaction. We were expecting to experience what had been advertised: staff that were rude, slightly offensive, that interacted with the customers. We were completely ignored. Perhaps other locations might be better, but this one was horrendous and not in a good way.

In comparison to other restaurants who do know not the word customer service. At least the staff are committed to giving you a dreadful service throughout. However, I went twice in the matter of two days and loved my experiences as a solo diner and group dining. I think i fell in love with waitress though despite it all being an act. She played my favourite music.

Food was actually good here. Not that they would care. Burgers were delicious and the chicken was juicy. Portion size was good too. Wanted to try their shakes but couldn’t be bothered. Won’t be back.

It was supposed to be a surprised dinner but was given the venue and I checked out the place. IT WAS A HOOT! Walked in and all the Karen’s were there looking at us and Hub had to get his own chair and no one dared asked for another glass for a table of six … food was alright but it was an experience 🤭 You just have to be there to feel the vibes : we had a good night out. Would not recommend for families bringing their young children there. Some kids aren’t meant to be exposed to such banter. We saw one child in tears but others loved it. Dine at your own risk and enjoy 🤭

👨🍳Karen’s diner is famed for their terrible customer service. This is such a fun and unique dining experience where you’re roasted by the rude waiters and there are so many f bombs. 💁♀️You can roast them back too. Try it! My husband was such a Karen. 🍔But their burgers are soo good and the curly fries are amazing, you don’t want to send them back. 😋Their popular burger is I want see the manager. I loved their Deep fried Karen and my cocktail pick was spicy Karen 💁♀️Overall it was such an entertaining experience.
