The hotel itself was a bit tired, with our rooms having chipped paint and the lingering smell of cigarettes. The shower heads were absolutely ridiculous in size. They were so tiny they barely covered half the body. Room was well stocked with tea, coffee and milk and we received daily cleaning services. The view from our room was beautiful too. The Hyde restaurant had quite slow service in the mornings at times and didn’t have standard salt and pepper on their tables. Location was fantastic and staff were helpful. Enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t come back to Soul.

Stayed here for a week. Fantastic beach location with gorgeous views, lots of shops, and food outlets nearby. Rooms are very clean and contemporary and have all amenities required. Outdoor pool is a good size with one also inside along with a jacuzzi, gym and sauna. Ungrounded parking available. Overall a great place to stay in the heart of surfers.

Beautiful location with everything you need within walking distance. We had a two bedroom Ocean view apartment which was nice. It did feel slightly dated hence the 4 stars. Having to move the bedsides to access power points, wiping dust off the remotes and stains on the couch weren’t amazing. Paying that amount of money is definitely for the location more than the room itself. The other downside was that on our first day there, all we could hear was drilling, for the entirety of the business day, which meant no sleep in or day nap as it sounded like it was right above us. Online it said that there was only painting happening so that wasn’t great to wake up to. On this day there was also lengthy delays for the lifts eg a 5-10 minute wait to get on one. The beds are quite soft so by the third night our backs were sore. When leaving the checkout experience was quick, so quick we didn’t even get asked how our stay was. The two ladies were more interested in there conversation as opposed to ensuring we left happy. Again not a big deal but again why it’s not 5 stars. We had a breakfast inclusive package at Hyde Paradiso and that was worth it! The Manager and his team made our breakfast experience well worth it, food did not disappoint, coffee amazing and even with a huge amount of people the service was sensational! All in all we would stay again however not at the peak rate we paid and I would be calling in advance to ask about planned works/maintenance.

This is one of the best apartment hotel in gold coast. The location is indeed in the most visited area of surfers paradise. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, both facing to the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped, it felt like home. We cooked everyday during our stay. Very recommended accomodation in gold coast.

Stayed on Level 59, the room was better than expected with an awesome view. It is right next to the beach and in the Center of Surface Paradise, you couldn’t get a better location… Very Good amenities and add the breakfast which was good… All together an awesome stay…
