Views from the Ocean view room were absolutely stunning! The room was also large and spacious, and was equipped with everything you'd need for medium to long stay. The location of the hotel was also really great! 1 min walk to the beach, and another minute walk to heaps and heaps of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops. However, there remain areas of improvements which are as follows: 1. The shower water pressure in the room was absolutely horrible. Considering we were on the 26th floor of a 70+ storey building, I don't see why the water pressure would be so bad! 2. The level of cleanliness in the room - Although housekeeping did a daily "refresh", the room was not adequately cleaned. It still felt rather dirty and dusty in some areas. 3. The checkout time of 10am - We were rather shocked to hear that checkout time was at 10am, which makes no sense especially since the hotel's official check-in time for incoming guests is a 2pm. I don't understand why the hotel would need close to 4 hours to turnover a room for an incoming guest. On a side note it also means that a 1 night stay (In at 2pm and Out at 10am) is barely 24 hours! I'd otherwise rate the hotel an 8/10 if you're willing to look past the 3 red-flags outlined above.

Wonderful stay at the Soul hotel. Fantastic location, right in the middle of everything. Beautiful views and large spacious balconies. Nothing beats looking out to a never-ending ocean view. The apartment was very clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. There was some wear and tear such as broken blinds and stains on the couch and a old TV in the room with no channels. The kitchen is big and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and clean. The mattress could be better. The hotel lacked that hotel ambience and customer service. Apart from downstairs and the check in area we never saw any other staff. The check in ladies were lovely but the atmosphere felt more like private apartments. We went all the way to our room and the keys did not work so had to go back to reception and wait in the long line again to get a new card. But technology happens. The pool was always so busy possibly a bit too small for the site. But lovely outdoor area. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back.

Spacious rooms and an amazing view of the ocean, everything else is disappointing especially the breakfast. I wish we didn’t pay for breakfast, we arrived yesterday and I don’t even want to think about the breakfast we had today and we will have to have the next few days 🤮. Compared to other hotels around (where we’ve been before) the breakfast and the service at the restaurant are the worst I’ve experienced. The other hotels have so much more to choose from. The glass walls from the “restaurant” are dirty as, instead of enjoying the view from there I couldn’t not be bothered by it. I also don’t like the feeling in the hallways, every part is narrow and dark, the lifts are so busy and wait is long (due to too many levels though). I won’t come again.

We have stayed at Peppers for a few times and this one is most disappointing experience for us. First day for checkin at 2pm, the room is not ready for checkin and we were told the room was trashed by previous customers and need extra time. We only check in half an hour after.(although we were offered drink voucher) Then the first night both myself and my daughter wake up in the middle of night from itchy skin at back and I immediately realized the sheets are not clean. I called the reception next day mornjng and told reception and they promised they would change the sheet and do full clean. At 2:05 the cleaners haven’t come yet so we called reception again and we were told the cleaners come between 2-4pm. So we left the room. Around 5:30 we came back to hotel room and it turns out the room is still not cleaned. confused and annoyed I called reception again and were told cleaner all go home for the day and they can only change our sheet and can’t clean room for the day. It was very disappointing for the level of service and standard of sanitation at peppers and unfortunately we don’t think we will come back again.

Lovely location! stayed here for 4 days. we are Accor gold members and received a complimentary upgrade and welcome gift, which is a lovely touch. Room was spacious and fairly clean. however stains can be seen on carpet and curtains which is slightly off putting. Only complaint would be not being able to use our Accor discount by the pool. we were originally told we could, and then when we ordered we are told no. None of the staff when asked about the discount were sure about it. Just didn’t seem informed. We were happy with the overall experience and we would stay again .
