A very nice cider cellar door. We went there on 03/01/2024. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can taste 8 different kinds of cider with only $5. All ciders taste really good, but my favorite one is the blue berry cider. We purchased some cider at the cellar door. The staff helped us to pack them properly for us to put into our luggage as the checked bag. Highly recommended.

Wonderful tasting experience! The ciders were all great and the customer service was exceptional. Walked away with a bottle of the Quince and a pack of the Blueberry. I’ll definitely be back!

A great Tassie cider brand. Lovely customer service. I recommend visiting and sampling their ciders.

My partner and I had our engagement party at Pagan Cider over the weekend, in their cosy little barn that is available to hire for events. I would highly recommend it for something intimate and casual in a place that already comes set up ready for photo opportunities. We chose to bring along some basic decorations, but you certainly wouldn’t need to do that because the space is already so lovely and welcoming. Shout out to Amber in particular, who made the process of booking and coordination so easy that we felt as though we must have been missing something (we weren’t). Amber helped us with suggestions for local musicians and caterers. She was there through the day and seemed to genuinely enjoy her work and the product. Her communication was fantastic. The team were available but unobtrusive. The cider here is an established Tasmanian brand that is popular for very good reason – something to suit just about every palate from sweet to tart, very sessionable. Makes use of regional fruits that the Huon Valley is known for. Definitely on the more approachable end of the scale (albeit at 8% ABV). Their cellar door operated through the day without interruption to us. My only suggestion is to make sure you book a driver. We hired Tassie Tours to do bus trips from the city, and this ended up being very much needed and an experience in itself. The day was so fun that the poor guy’s ears were probably ringing for a while after drop-off. As we all know, transport is challenging in the regions, and having that covered allowed us all to make the most of what was on offer at the bar. Thanks again to the Pagan Team, all credit to you and we will definitely be back.

The ending of cherry cider is soft and long, and the service is value for money. If you have an allergy to alcohol; even so, it is quite a good trip for brunch to nearby Cygnet.
