I was first given a ground floor room which was not to my expectation of cleanliness. Spoke the receptionist and she helped and did her best to change the room and apologised for the inconvenience. The first floor room is more spacious and better quality. It was a state room. The location is amazing. Breakfast options at the hotel is very minimalistic. But outside there are amazing cafe. The coffee at good things was excellent.

Marco and his team make you feel at home every single time. Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of beautiful and happening Fremantle. Oh - and I had the best night sleep in long time this week! Perfect!

Walking distance to ferries. Great hospitality!!! Breakfast as expected. Did not know about the wine and cheese, nice addition. Room was tight, but we were only sleeping in it. Many resurants nearby.

We had the cheaper price room, it was smaller than what I'd expect for the price. It was nicely styled. The bathroom door seal needs maintenance. Their staff were super friendly, there was complimentary bottled water, continental breakfast (we liked their homemade jams) and did have a happy hour with a neighbouring bar for a drink and simple cheese platter too.

An excellent hotel. I recently spent x5 nights at the Hougoumont on a visit to Fremantle. The Hougoumont is centrally located in Fremantle. The rooms are modern and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was provided. I was particularly impressed with the assistance I was given when my flight home was cancelled at short notice. I was given an even late check out then my bags were looked after whilst I went out. This was very helpful in the circumstances. Highly recommended. Graham
