We stayed in a suite for 3 nights & were very happy with our suite, executive lounge, service, food. Very comfortable bedding, good insulation throughout. The location is top notch, right in the shopping area, restaurants, transport, etc The lounge was nice but could be pretty crowded. It might be a good idea to limit the number of people allowed in the lounge. Nice pool but it was too crowded during our stay, therefore, we didn't use it. A small functional gym which was good We would return to this hotel in the future.
We only stayed for one night, but it was a good experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean with nice amenities. We even had the option to customize our pillows, which was great. The only drawback was the elevator; it always seemed crowded and took a while to arrive. Otherwise, it’s a solid place to stay right in the heart of the CBD.
The hotel's location was undeniably excellent, providing convenient access to key attractions. However, beyond the location, our overall experience was disappointing, falling far short of the standards expected from a five-star establishment. Upon arrival, we entrusted our luggage to the concierge as we arrived two hours before the check-in time. At the designated check-in time of 3:00 PM, we were informed that our room was still not ready and had to wait an additional 10 minutes. We were given complimentary vouchers for the bar/cafe but they provided 2 free drink vouchers when there were four of us. Once our room was ready, we inquired about our luggage and were assured it would be delivered to our room. After waiting for some time with no sign of our bags, we called the hotel service and were told the luggage was on its way. However, another 10 minutes passed, and still no luggage arrived. After a second call to the service desk, we were again reassured that our luggage was en route and were asked to be patient due to the busy day. After an additional five minutes, I went down to the concierge myself, only to find our luggage still sitting there. This was especially frustrating as we needed our luggage to get ready for an important appointment and were working within a strict time frame. I explained the situation and mentioned the repeated assurances we had been given that the bags were on their way. While the concierge staff apologised, the experience was incredibly inconvenient. When I carried the luggage to our room myself and called to express our dissatisfaction, all we received was a brief apology, which felt dismissive given the urgency of our situation. The issues continued the following morning during breakfast. We stood at the "Please Wait to Be Seated" sign, but no staff member greeted or acknowledged us. One staff member even walked past without offering assistance. My partner eventually had to walk into the restaurant to find someone, and by that time, several other families were lined up behind us. It was a poor start to the day and an unacceptable experience for a 5-star hotel. Additional disappointments included the absence of a minibar in the room and the excessive wait times for the elevators. On multiple occasions, we either had to let overcrowded lifts pass or wait for an extended period before one became available. Having stayed at several five-star hotels in Sydney, this was by far the most underwhelming experience. The lack of attentive service, poor communication, and failure to meet basic expectations made it clear that we would not choose this hotel again in the future. For those seeking a truly five-star experience, there are far better options available in Sydney.
A group of us booked this hotel due to its location and it exceeded our expectations. Rooms very well appointed, soundproof, with a house sized bathroom and plenty of space to move around. Comfy bed. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The lobby on level 8 was like being transported to a tranquil escape, even though you are in the heart of the city. A minute to the transport, restaurants and shops. The pool was a bonus. Would recommend staying here.
I stayed with my mom and we had so much fun. I would 100% come again! In the rooms there was a bath and a shower complete with shower gel, conditioner and shampoo. The room comes with a hairdryer, iron and robes and slippers. There is a pantry with a capsule coffee machine and a mini fridge with milk. The bed is very comfortable. A nice tv to. A very nice place to stay in. On level eight there is the restaurant and bar at the bar counter there was a man with long curly hair and was extremely kind to us, well every staff member was exceptionally nice. On the tenth floor is the spa and sports section it has a pool a gym and a spa and nails bit. The location is amazing we had a beautiful view out of the window of the harbor.
