From appearance, facilities, staff and location, this hotel provides it all. We enjoyed a 3 night stay after traveling on the Indian Pacific. Situated around the corner from the mall, and very close to the stunning Queen Victoria and Strand Arcades you couldn't ask for a better location. It's a short walk to Darling Harbor and the tram is right there if you don't feel like walking to Circular Quay. The staff were all friendly and accommodating - the concierge was very helpful, check in staff friendly and the staff in the bar and breakfast room were great. The bar staff were terrific in recommending drinks and provided a fantastic service. We would definitely stay again.
Swissotel Sydney offers an ideal stay with its prime location, excellent facilities, and welcoming staff. It's centrally located near Pitt Street Mall, Hyde Park, and Darling Harbour, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and modern, with great amenities like a pool, gym, and spa. The staff are friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable experience. The staff were great with our little ones and accommodating to requests. If you're visiting Sydney, whether for business or a family vacation, this hotel is a top choice.
Great location but that where positivity ended. Checked in before long weekend and the receptionist obviously did not want to be there and it showed, no eye contact, minimal verbal exchange except “ID and credit card”, proceeded to also check out the person in the queue behind me at the same time while making me wait with no explanation . Then “sign here” and told that card will be charge $50 for holding fee. I think a computer check in process would have been more efficient and at least I didn’t have to deal with the attitude.
One of my favourite hotels in Sydney . Room always clean , and well presented. Staff are excellent very helpful & professional. Restaurant & bar is very good great atmosphere. Best location. I will be back as it never disappoints.
Good experience overall. Great location in the heart of the city and the family enjoyed the stay overall. The reasons why I did not gave a better rating is that I think the room is a bit dated and that the breakfast selection should have some changes each day. Eating the same breakfast for 6 days is not great.
