The Hotel stay overall was pleasant to stay at. Great location, short work to everywhere - Peel Street 8mins. Off site parking nice & close, easy access & an ease to leave the City Centre too. The lady who greeted us could at least pretended to play the part, we are guests on Holiday. Every other staff member we met was lovely to deal with. (There 4 nights) Cleaning of the rooms could be better. They didn't check under the bed, we found a cola bottle & an ear plug on the last morning when packing up. They must always vacuum the room with door open, we could see the line of dust LOL & we also coped a puff of dust when storing a bag top shelf. Looks like cleaners only do what they can see. We really enjoyed the dinner we had at the Restaurant, steak was on point. Coffee was very good too. Beer over priced, seems to be the way now days. Room itself met our needs, bed was comfy. Wifi worked great & the chromecast option for the TV worked seamlessly too.
ROOMS and ensuite toilet are spacious. Rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, which is perfect! I have one of the rooms on Level 14 and it has a great view! Wifi Internet has decent speed and TV allows casting from streaming apps. Filtered water is available from Level 1 and Level 2 - I wish there is a water dispenser for every floor. SERVICE - We only interacted with front desk staff. They were courteous, thoughtful thorough and have very high attention to detail. LOCATION is great. Bus stops are in front of the hotel and Rundle Mall is just behind the hotel.
All the staff were terrific and went out of their way to help; I would rate them 10 out of 10. The room was slightly small, but as it was just me, I found it adequate. Unfortunately, for me, the window wasn't openable (I love fresh air when sleeping). The bed was comfortable, although more variation in pillow heights would have been preferable; as it was, I had to double one pillow on top of another to get the thickness required. The room was clean, although I noticed a long dark hair on the bathroom floor between the sink & toilet when I checked in, which was still there after the room was cleaned the next morning.
The dinner service was way better than we expected. Everything we ordered was really good, especially the Brussels sprouts with Gouda cheese and the pork dish. Breakfast was great too and definitely worth trying. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.
Amazing hotel service at bar at reception 6 stars for service ! Room clean tidy and well looked after , good gym breakfast had a good choice , highly recommend one of the best accor hotels we stayed at including 5 stars such as Pullman and Sofitel. A big thank you to the staff ! The welcome amenity for gold member wow wish I had taken a photo as everyone seems to have gold membership so many hotels do not recognise the membership but ibis Adelaide acknowledged on welcome and then sent a great amenity to the room we will be back thanks Merryn and Jason King
