Great location to walk to Rundle Mall shops and Rundle Street restaurants and bars. Our bedroom was comfortable and very clean as was the bathroom. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast where you can order coffees and eggs how you like them. The bar was very nice too. The staff at the bar and at breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. Negatives: When we checked in (Tuesday 11 Feb at around 4pm) we had a lovely girl helping us but there was another girl on reception who we spoke to about parking who was very rude, miserable and unhelpful. She was the same on another occasion we required assistance. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name. All other staff on reception were excellent and helpful with special mention of Storm who went above and beyond and was super friendly. Unfortunately we could not get our 6 seater van into the hotel carpark as too high so we had a lot of messing around parking that overnight for 3 nights. Bedroom was small but compact but could do with a couple of extra shelves/drawers for clothes. We are Gold Accor members but could not get a room upgrade.

Conveniently situated in the city centre, this hotel offers comfortable, well‑kept rooms and excellent access to restaurants, attractions and public transport. The staff were friendly and professional, and overall the stay felt satisfactory; however, late‑night street noise was more noticeable than expected — even with the double‑glazed windows the traffic and nightlife could be heard and may disturb light sleepers. It’s a practical choice if location is your priority, but consider requesting a room on a higher floor or bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise.

Nice ibis hotel. Good gym, very good breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff. Good location. Parking is a bit expensive. Good laundry facilities. The room we stayed in was good. The only downside was the fixed shower. The food at the restaurant was good as well; however, I’m not posting pictures because they changed the menu during our stay, and the photos might not be accurate. (Pic: room view at sunset)

We stayed just one night, but Ibis was perfectly suited to our needs. To begin, the price per person was competitive, and the staff were quite helpful. We arrived early, and I just wanted to drop some bags off in the lobby before check-in. This was an option, but the receptionist offered to help set up an account so we could check in early for free. That was quick and easy, and highly appreciated. The room itself was fine. Nothing special, but solid. We had plenty of towels and the bed was clean and comfortable. The shower and bathroom facilities were up to standard, however the 3-in-1 body wash/soap/shampoo was subpar, but it's not as though it's made in-house, but definitely do bring your own if you want to feel properly clean. Great location, too. Definitely a place to consider when staying in the city.

Great place to stay, close to everything in the city and easy walk to the tram. Staff are very friendly and recognise returning customers. Rooms are small, but a comfortable stay for a good night's sleep.
