Great location in the heart of the city. Welcoming and friendly staff. Perfect location for a business or pleasure stay. Breakfast was amazing with many options from pantries, fruit, cereals, pancakes, omelettes, hot breakfast foods and more. Also had a lovely chai latte from the bar area to take away for on my way to work. Would recommend and stay here again. Thanks to all the staff.

We love coming back each year for our mini getaway. The pool is excellent for kids. Warm and inside so no worry of sunburn or rain. Breakfast is always good and the staff are all so friendly. The pool cleaner guy was especially great this year engaging in conversation with us. The beds are comfy but the sofa beds need an upgrade. Hubbys back didn’t hold up well with it as I was in the bed with the kids. I’d also love to see more ways to hang towels to dry when it’s four people in a room. Our towels ended up needing to be replaced more than we’d like because we were limited to how we could dry them.

Urgent trip to Melbourne for 2 nights. Novotel has always been a reliable accommodation. There was some construction work happening but as I was only there at night it wasn’t a big problem. Comfortable bed & pillows. Fantastic location. Very busy in lobby due to the Tennis. Good stay.

Great size room very quite looking over Collins st. Breakfast very good selection of foods we did have to line up for a table. Bar a nice spot to have a drink. Pool small but refreshing to have a swim. Rooms need to be updated with modern furnishings. Great value hotel

The hotel itself is perfectly located BUT to be rated a 4.5 Star is a stretch. The fittings are dated and some of the selling points as far as the St. Collins mall are under extensive renovations and unable to be accessed. Whilst the pool is a great addition, the regular cleaning and provision of towels is lacking. Room service is attended to, eventually, but often well into the afternoon (4pm or thereabouts). I booked this stay for 2 reasons. 1. Location 2. As an anniversary trip I wanted to ‘splurge’ on a little bit of luxury. Whilst location was great, the ‘luxury’ on offer is limited and not as good as other hotels in the city with less recognition.
