The hotel room was exceptional. Clean, spacious, comfortable and the best was the beautiful view to the lake 😍 The pillows and mattress were very comfortable which is essential for me. I cannot stand a hotel with bad pillows or a mattress that is too soft. This one was perfect! The bathroom is the next thing that is extremely important to me. It was spacious and clean. Only one day, the cleaning staff did not refilled it but as soon as I told them, they brought me extra shower caps and toilet paper. The staff was very helpful and responsive, even though the hotel was fully booked during the time I stayed. I definitely recommend staying at Pullman Melbourne Albert Park Hotel.
I love this place so much! Amazing view, location, generous room size and what is most important it’s customer service! Pullman managed to keep customer service level to the high standards as it used to be from the first time I stayed there about 10 years ago. I can’t thank the staff enough for making my stay so pleasant and memorable every time! And I have to mention the view- it is magnificent! You can’t go wrong with this place if you want quality, convenience and comfort!
While Pullman's location is incredibly convenient, my recent stay fell short of the 5-star experience I expected. The room itself was pleasant and clean, but unfortunately, the service in other areas significantly detracted from my overall impression. The breakfast buffet was particularly disappointing. Not only was the carpet littered with crumbs and food, creating an unappetizing atmosphere, but the staff seemed disinterested and lacked enthusiasm. My order for sunny-side-up eggs was forgotten twice, adding to the frustrating experience. Similar issues were present at the bar, where service was slow and appeared disorganized, lacking a focus on customer satisfaction. On a positive note, check-in was smooth and efficient thanks to the professionalism of some members of the reception and concierge team. However, the inconsistencies in service throughout the hotel highlight a clear need for staff training across all departments. Overall, Pullman has potential, but until the service standards are elevated to match its star rating, I wouldn't recommend it.
We stayed here for our special day and Pullman really made it too extra for us! Service was excellent, they didn’t have to welcome us with sweet treats and a bottle of champagne but they still did! They also upgraded our room to get the best view of Albert Park, what an awesome experience!
I’ve stayed at several Pullman hotels before, including Pullman Adelaide and Pullman Hotel Baiyun Airport Guangzhou, as well as a few others in Australia. Unfortunately, this particular property was the worst of them all. The rooms, services, and overall experience fell far below expectations for a 5-star hotel. Despite being a Gold Accor member, I was not offered an upgrade or the room I requested. The room provided felt more like an Ibis – in fact, I’ve stayed at Ibis hotels with better rooms than this. To make matters worse, after a couple of days, they replaced our soft pillows with extremely hard ones without any explanation, making the remaining days of our stay even worse. This lack of attention to detail and guest comfort was unacceptable and added to our disappointment. Additionally, my parents, who traveled from overseas, also found this hotel to be the worst among the 8–10 hotels they’ve stayed at in Australia over the past year. Needless to say, I’m extremely disappointed and feel like the stay was not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and believe significant improvements are needed to meet the standards of the Pullman brand.
