We had a lovely room on the 6th floor overlooking the lake. The room was spacious and modern. The only complaint was the shower. We had no pressure, and the hot water cut out after a while. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there, but we had a bite to eat at the cafe. The food was nice, but the portions were pretty small. The location was great. Close to trams and easily accessible on foot to the lake.

We recently stayed at this hotel and, while it is a little dated, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a real highlight — delicious, with plenty of variety, and very reasonably priced. The hotel also offers great facilities, including a lovely heated indoor pool. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by an issue with our Accor membership. We were initially told we were entitled to a discount, but the hotel later refused to honour it. When we raised it with the manager, we were told the staff member who checked us in was new and gave us incorrect information — which we felt was a poor excuse and disappointing customer service. Also both restaurants were limited with their drinks menu offering only one type of wine by the glass and then telling us they had run out of both so couldn’t even get a glass of wine with our dinner. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but the handling of our membership issue left a sour note.

Great location, great staff, great to have parking, and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast (the kids room off the restaurant area is genius!). The pool has a dirty brown ring around it, the spa had some weird foam that would go away, also the change rooms are disgusting and I wonder when they were last cleaned. Also, the toilets we used closest to the bar were dirty, with rubbish bin overflowing. Our room kettle had a layer of dust on it. I just don’t rate dirty hotels. Also, the electrics in our room were dodge - reading lights that flickered when you switched them on and you had to find balance with the switch to stop that; and a loose socket panel in the bathroom that had a shattered broken switch. And finally, the water in the shower was either crazy hot, or cold, so you played with the mixer the whole time trying to find a medium. Not great for little kids, who were the first to discover this issue with an almost burning hot shower incident.

I completed online check in but still had to queue twice to gain access to my room. It was not ready earlier than 2pm, as requested on booking over a month ago so I had to wait an hour. It wasn't ready at 2pm when all rooms were meant to be ready. I eventually got in at 2.35 after asking a rude concierge if the room was ready. This then ruined my afternoon with my daughter as we were too late to attend our planned event. Our remote in the room did not work. I went down in person the next day to alert the concierge who promised that it would be attended to and no one came to fix it. We stayed for 2 nights. We attended two functions in the hotel including dinner. The food was mediocre and small portions so not worth the money we paid, in my opinion. I have stayed in a few hotels in Melbourne and this was the worst experience so far.

This was the worst hotel experince I had. I will be listing the problems as follows; The room heater was not working while I was in the winter season. Faulty appliances can be acceptable, but of course you expect them to be fixed once you mention it. However, nothing was done. I said it three times. No one took care of it. The higyene was the worst. Some cleaning staff left a dirty plate in front of my door. I informed the reception at least two time. The plate has not been remover for 3 days. It is real. Moreover, I wanted to have laundry/ dry cleaning. I put my all clothes behind my door. There was a filled paper. Besides It has not ben taken, cleaning staff didnt come and clean my room. ı checked that my room sign was please do clean.
