We had a wonderful stay at Pullman Melbourne City Centre. The highlight was definitely the beautifully appointed lounge. We enjoyed evening canapés and drinks as well as breakfast in the lounge, and were impressed by the quality of the offerings (champagne for breakfast is always a win!). A special thank you to Nicole, who took care of us in the lounge during breakfast. She went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restriction, arranging an à la carte meal that wasn’t even on the menu. Her warm, friendly hospitality made us feel instantly at home and truly valued as guests. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location is fantastic. Thank you to everyone at the Pullman for a memorable stay—we look forward to visiting again!
I stayed here for business purpose. The location was good and staff professional, not all were friendly. The room was nice and spacious and bed fairly comfortable. It was good to have lots of options to watch thing on TV to help unwind after work. They have 2 restaurants and have room service however restaurants are closed Sunday and Monday. If you can prepare food for room service why wouldn’t you open a restaurant? The Menu is limited and apart from the pizza there really isn’t anything exciting about the menu. It is good that there are lots of options to eat around the area as it is located in China Town. The money they charge for food is absolutely not worth it as it isn’t that great. Room service food always came up cold. I was charged twice for my stay and the young girl at reception insisted that I wasn’t, even when I showed her my bank statement with 2 transactions. She just shrugged and said to speak to my bank. After taking this further I was told I was right. “We did charge you twice”. I have to stay here for work but if it was by choice I probably wouldn’t.
We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with the size and cleanliness of the room as well as the service from all staff. We enjoyed breakfast in Eva's restaurant both mornings and were happy with the quality of our cooked breakfast as well as the cold buffet provided. Later we enjoyed drinks at Blossoms rooftop bar as well as a woodfired pizza. All staff were professional and helpful. The hotel is located on little Bourke Street just a few minutes' walk from Myers and David Jones. as well as many eateries and bars. We were both happy with our stay at the Pullman city centre.
Upgraded room was available and it was not offered on arrival. Water pressure was weak, and hot water was lukewarm, I had to reach out to service desk at night to do the full move to a new room. Green initiatives were not clear on arrival and just ask if I’m interested in points or welcome drinks instead of room clean. When I specifically asked to have my room cleaned on day 2. We come back to room not cleaned and my wife is sorely disappointed in the 5 star hotel. After they cleaned the room the following day. They took our baby’s towel away and lost it in the process. When mentioned it to the duty manager on Monday night he say he’ll have a look and let me know. Which he never gave an update on what’s happened to the missing towel. Tuesday in the morning, I raised it to reception I’ll be checking out in the morning, and our baby towel is still missing and I’m expecting to have it found since this request was made since Monday 7 pm Instead I got a duty manager telling me they’ll have a look post room report. After checking out I received a bill of using mini bar which I never touched, and asking for a photo of what the towel looks like. After giving a link to the product of what was missing, instead of communicating potential refunding me the cost of the product. They just refund the cost of the product to me. This is the third time and will be the last time I’ll be staying in any Pullman line of hotel. Pretty shitty experience and service in overall stay. 5 stay seem to only tick off the bucket of worst service .
First time staying here and was very happy with it. Location is amazing and rooms are nice and modern. Platinum plus member so enjoyed the perks of the lounge and breakfast which had quality offerings. Received a room upgrade which was nice but welcome gift of chocolate bars was a little disappointing. Pizza at rooftop bar are very good. Look forward to our next visit.
