I required a handicap room which was large ,spacious and clean. Easy for me to move around and really appreciated the shower chair in the bathroom which great. Room was tidied every day plus bed remade. Would love to stay again, oh and the food was very yummo. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable

Stayed here on a quick overnight stay while in area for work. The staff are more than pleasant, the rooms are a nice size and are clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a great variety of food available, and as the weather was nice, it was great to sit outside and smell the aromas coming from the wood fired smoker. I have stayed here in the past, and I will do so again.

Staff and check-in were great. There is a sports bar downstairs for dinner, which was so convenient after a long drive. The room was a little noisy being at the front of the property, but overall, it was a great place for a 1 night stop over.

This is a very old hotel. The wallls are paper thin. It is lovely and comfortable in that old style but you can hear all the sounds from adjacent rooms, upstairs and downstairs. If you’re using this hotel just to snooze and go venture Canberra during daylight, then it is the perfect choice and value. My room (105) was above the gym: every morning, an avid runner starts thumping the treadmill at 7am. I am an early riser so it doesn’t bother me. When I checked in, the guests upstairs were having loud sex or something. I don’t begrudge someone having a good time, but I can hear every single bump on the bed. I called reception and they did pipe down. The staff are amazing. There is ample parking out front. Would I come back? Yes but definitely would have extra ear plugs.

I just had the misfortune to stay here. I booked paid parking as part of my room booking. We arrived yesterday at some Beer Festival and no parking available. Advised by reception to park on the road in another suburb and walk the ten minutes back to the hotel. Drunk guests coming back from Beer Festival at midnight, apparently no responsible service of alcohol in the ACT! Terrible service, and why was I complaining from reception? We will never stay here again! So sad we had stayed at the old Olims since the 1990's. Rooms gone down hill, no top sheet on the bed either some cover that had dirt on it and obviously is not washed every with guest.
