Nice small room in heritage part, felt fresh and clean. Nice cosy hotel Reverse cycle AC was over bed so a bit noisy but certainly kept room warm. About 1km easy nice walk to Canberra Mall for night life, shops restaurants. Parking free in front (not many spaces) and on side streets but $15-28 a night in secure back car park. A lot of the streets are clearways in the day but only Mon-Fri. Sat Sun we parked ok on the road next door. Biggest let down in an otherwise really cosy hotel was the dining room. Bare tables and food reminiscent of an RSL in Woy Woy circa 1962. Weird. Cheap daily specials but food matched the ambiance. Breakfast room much better, nice airy room, standard fare but fine. Marmalade has never seen an orange but bacon, eggs, fruit, cheeze etc. fine. Juice machine, coffee machine all good. Pastries limited to dry croissants.

Happy with everything except aircon which was not powerful enough to keep room comfortable for sleep at night. Also a bit noisy. Pleased you are providing work opportunities for young adults with special needs. Excellent breakfast; comfortable beds; quiet overall (except for a/c) which helps with good night's sleep. No pool which is surprising for a big premium hotel

Place was alright. Very clean. Rooms are comfy. Fairly quiet from outside. But on the downside, especially for the price. Theres no smart TVs? (No youtube on the TV, no local Netflix etc?) Also $30+ just to watch movies FOR ONE NIGHT on the TV. Insane pricing. Not to mention all the room snacks & drinks are expensive. But the most annoying part. Is it states theres filtered water (other than tap water) yet there is none? There is no access to filtered water at all unless you want to pay for a water bottle in the fridge which is like $5. Filtered water should be complimentary in a hotel, as it has been in most that I've been to on this trip. For a hotel that was $150+ I believe more should have been offered without a price. Not just a room to stay in. You need to pay more for parking.... more for snacks.... more for TV.. . More for breakfast.... more for water. So in total, a $150 hotel room turns into a $250 hotel room for the night. Its a shame.

Large room looking out onto the inner courtyard gardens. Very comfortable bed and quiet peaceful surroundings. Easy 15 min walk to Canberra centre shopping mall. Breakfast was good with reasonable choice and some variation during the five days we were there. Carpark with keycard access was good. Staff friendly and efficient- Phoebe and William were particularly helpful at breakfast. Olims restaurant and bar was fine with substantial meals served for dinner. Hotel is heritage property so is not a modern build but makes up for it with large rooms kept very clean. It is also dog friendly which didn’t bother us. Overall very happy with our stay

We stayed at this hotel in Canberra and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. On our first day, our room was not properly serviced. The bed was simply made, but the linens and towels were not changed. The floor, table, and bathroom counter were also not cleaned, which was quite concerning. Breakfast on our first day was good, but the quality declined after that. The following mornings, the sausages and bacon were burnt, and the baked beans were unusually sweet, which was not enjoyable. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness and consistency of service. There is definitely room for improvement in housekeeping and food quality.
