The room was lovely and the bathroom was modern. What wasn't good was that when we arrived and were walking through the corridors to our room, there were lots of bags of rubbish just left outside rooms. No housekeeping staff in sight. There were 2 bags of rubbish outside our room when we arrived. Not a pleasant welcome. Later on, the rubbish had been removed. Maybe they were running late that day?

Great place to stay. Would definitely stay there again. Stayed in a room near the main street but couldn't hear the traffic at all. Wish the shower wash was filled up though. It only had enough in it for one shower, stayed for 3 nights. Also had only one roll of toilet paper, had to ask for another. Other than that. Very clean, comfortable bed. Location is perfect

I required a handicap room which was large ,spacious and clean. Easy for me to move around and really appreciated the shower chair in the bathroom which great. Room was tidied every day plus bed remade. Would love to stay again, oh and the food was very yummo. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable

Overall a good hotel, dining choice is good pub food but pleanty if very good restaurents within 10/15 minutes walk. Warning, the bar generally closes early, a bit after 9.00pm and most days no "last drinks" are called, so take a bottle or two with you. This is not real good for an international hotel.

Staff were lovely and helpful. A problem with housekeeping, only 1 towel between 2. Mentioned it and was told to collect towels from Reception!! Bigger problem, the sheets on the bed were WET. Rang reception and 2 people came up with sheets for the bed. These were the only available clean sheets in the hotel!! These were also wet but not as wet as the ones on the bed. Let them change the sheets as it was take it or leave it. Breakfast- ok, it was a buffet and food was cold, but they did warm it up in a microwave for me. No decaf tea or coffee.
