Good location being close to the lake area, I stayed for 1 night due to flight rescheduling and easily able to book last minute. The room was good but not properly vacuumed with previous guests hair throughout the carpet. Restaurant was very average, poor vegetarian options both dinner and breakfast but uplifted by good wine choices and generally good staff experience. I won’t be rushing back.

I was initially impressed with the location of QT Canberra, right in the city center, making it easy to explore the attractions of Canberra. The hotel's modern design also gave a positive first impression. However, the overall experience was far from satisfying. The most frustrating issue was the slow customer service. I emailed the hotel with a question before my stay, and it took more than 48 hours to receive a response. This level of responsiveness is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The air conditioning in the room was excessively loud, and the only option was to turn it off, leaving the room hot and uncomfortable. The poor soundproofing in the room was another issue; I could clearly hear noises from the bathroom, which made it difficult to relax. Parking was another inconvenience. The hotel charges $30 per night, but there’s no guarantee of an available spot. This made parking stressful and frustrating. While I understand the construction site view isn’t the hotel's fault, it would have been nice to be informed in advance or offered a room with a better view. Despite its great location, the poor service, noise issues, and lack of attention to detail made this stay disappointing.

Great location though major roadworks going on around the hotel, good signage made access easy. Our room was clean but in need of an update. Good size though and good mini bar selection. The service was good, very helpful in regards to access with bikes. Bar service was fine, busy night for them. We would come back and try and get a more recently renovated room.

Nice hotel. Very lovely staff. A bit dated. Clean. Good location. Parking downstairs is very limited given the number of rooms in the hotel, so keep that in mind when booking, might end up not having a spot. On the downside, AC is a bit on the loud side even at a low setting. Water pressure on 10th floor was barely acceptable, brushing teeth was a challenge, not too bad for taking a shower, but still…

Me and my wife checked in for a 4-day accomodation at QT Hotel. The location is very much accessible, aside from the road constructions when we were there. The room that we had suits me and my wife and made our stay so much comfortable. The basement parking is also a plus too as it offers safety for our car during our stay at a reasonable price. What made our stay extra special are the hospitality and off the charts customer service of the staffs working there, especially the girl on the restaurant, I think her name is Yuri who looked after us during breakfast times. We would like to say thanks as well to the girl receptionist there, I believe her name is Nut for helping us when we needed assistance. We will definitely be back if our time allows on next holiday trip! Thank you!
