Stayed here for a work trip, hotel is exceptional and the location is hard to beat. Was allocated a room in the Gowings Building and it was amazing. Rooms are large with a huge bathroom. Easy access from the building directly to market street which takes you straight to street level, you don’t need to go via reception. Had breakfast in the French restaurant, service was great but the food was a tad pedestrian.

Loved this hotel! Quirky and stylish. Great service. Arrived early and the team were helpful, storing our bags all day and having them ready in the room on arrival. The room was larger than any other ‘standard’ room I’ve had which was nice. Amenities great and bed super comfortable. Love that the toilet is separate from the rest of the bathroom but the gap in the door meant you could hear and smell… well… everything. Heard plumbing sounds constantly, too so suggest ear plugs. Would definitely stay here again despite these few things.

Perfect location to all the shops and public transport. Had a hand written note and a complimentary wine from the staff for our anniversary which was very nice of them. The room was very clean and had the room service almost on all days (they missed a day in the middle). The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was perfect. The centralised AC starts to make loud noises and couldn’t sleep properly. Sounds like a tap is on but next to your ear all the time. Definitely our new go to every time we visit Sydney.

What a fabulous hotel!!!We have stayed at many high end hotels over the years - but the combination of the fantastic friendly and efficient staff, the great location, the quirky touches in the room and the small but appreciated things like plush towels, Dyson hairdryer etc made it one of our favourites places to stay. Reasonable rates- and love that the included breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but ordered off the menu . Also loved the welcome from Staff on the ground floor. We will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were wonderful and lovely to deal with. The room was spaces with an even bigger bathroom. The bed was unfortunately quite uncomfortable, and the room was quite dusty.
