Our wedding at the Dockside Group on the 5 July 2025 in Darling Harbour was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the remarkable team who brought it to life. From our very first meeting, Lenita was an absolute delight. She listened intently, anticipated our needs and radiated a warm, welcoming charm that instantly put us at ease. Her professionalism and gracious manner were instrumental in our decision to choose Dockside, alongside the breathtaking waterfront setting. Lenita then entrusted us to the skilled and personable care of Carol, whose poise, meticulous organisation and genuine warmth made the planning process effortless. She coordinated every detail behind the scenes from the ceremony to the reception and all the run sheets with precision and unwavering dedication. It was truly a pleasure working with Carol, in the months leading up to our big day. On the day itself, our event manager Anju was the embodiment of composure and expertise. A natural problem solver with exceptional management skills, she handled every detail with elegance and efficiency. She felt less like a coordinator and more like a trusted family member, ensuring that even the smallest hiccup was addressed with foresight and grace. We are incredibly thankful for Anju’s seamless coordination of the entire wedding and her amazing management of all suppliers, which truly made the day stress-free and flawless. A special commendation must go to Chef Malcolm, whose culinary artistry was a highlight of the evening. His menu was a refined fusion of flavours, artfully composed and layered with depth, offering our guests an unforgettable dining experience that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. We recently celebrated our daughter’s first birthday at L’Aqua by Dockside Group, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, Marie Ambal was amazing to work with—so attentive, responsive, and supportive during the planning process. She made everything seamless and stress-free. On the day of the event, Anju, the venue manager, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Pretty good event venue. Main issue was I was there for a 2 day forum. The ball room was set up with tables for us to sit around. There are some huge columns throughout the room which obstruct your view of the presentation slides. There was too much light in the room and caused it all to be glarey. It would benefit from flipping the screens to be against the wall rather than against the window.
