For $1090 a night I really expected to be wowed and wasn’t. The rooms are nice, nothing special. I had a “Skyline” room and looked straight into a neighbouring apartment building. The food at the restaurant was very average also. The day spa is beautiful and I really enjoyed my massage, it was the one part of my stay that lived up to my expectations.

Calling Capella Sydney home for a few days was divine. A travel advisor recommended the hotel for my trip there to run Sydney Marathon and I am so glad she did. The location was perfect on race day to easily access the metro to get to the race start and walk back from the Opera House finish line and the restaurant graciously opened for breakfast that morning at 4:30 am for runners. The pool area also had two cold plunge baths installed for race week. And beyond that the overall service, rituals like afternoon tea and the thoughtful turndown amenities were thoroughly impressive. The historic building is artfully restored and beautifully appointed. I loved my room - spacious, modern, plenty of closet space, and more, as well as a grand bathroom with shower, bathtub, dual vanity. I’ll be back - thank you for a wonderful first stay.!

There is no shortage of good things I have to say about this place. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were amazing, we had incredible service and there was always someone to greet you. Our room was spectacular, we had the premier king room and the bed was huge, the room was clean and I swear every time we left, even if it was for only 1 hour, our room was turned down, bed made, mess cleaned and amenities all tided. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely amazing - would highly recommend attending every morning. The location is very central, and a close walk to everything. I will be coming back as often as I can. Thank you Capella for a wonderful experience.

Wow, what a spectacular stay! The hotel is absolutely stunning with incredible facilities, but it’s really the amazing staff that made it so special. Emily at the front desk, along with Ismail, were so warm and welcoming and made check-in a breeze. Luke greeted us with a big smile, a welcome drink, and even gave us tips to make the most of our day at Capella—such a lovely touch! I had the best time at the wellness centre on level 6, from the vitality pool to the sauna—it felt like pure bliss. And breakfast the next morning was such a treat… the eggs Benedict were honestly some of the best I’ve had! Thank you, Capella, for such an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to come back!

We had the most wonderful experience at Capella. We were warmly greeted on arrival and our check-in was both seamless and hospitable. The rooms were elegant and luxurious. The staff all went out of their way to grant our requests and did so with a smile.
