Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Excellent restaurant next door with delicious food. The location is walking distance to James Street where you'll find more amazing eateries. We were able to walk across the Story Bridge and caught the 'free' city Hopper ferry back to Felons for a refreshing drink before walking back to the hotel.

It's a real pleasure to stay at a hotel that is actively trying to make your visit enjoyable. The front desk staff were really nice and the amenities are great. It's also close to an amazing variety of food choices within 100 metres of the front door. I got a suprise upgrade and was in an extremely nice room which was super comfortable. A really lovely surprise, thank you! Will definitely return when I'm in Brisbane.

Loved our 1 night stay here! The hotel has so much personality and the location is quiet yet so central. Great bar and restaurant with beautiful interiors. Oh and the candy bar is a bonus! Staff were great also. Will definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a night for a work conference and I have never had service as amazing as this before from a hotel! A huge thank you to the front desk team for your incredible customer service over the two days, super friendly and helpful! Rooms were also great and hotel overall had such an awesome vibe, would definitely stay here again.

I arrived a few hours earlier than expected for check in but immediately Nick and the team at reception were nothing but accommodating, helpful, informative & just overall amazing. The room itself was immaculate and had a great aesthetic. It felt more like staying over a few nights at a stylish friend's holiday home than staying merely at a hotel. Room service was cheerful and friendly the one time I even managed to see them due to their sheer professional level of efficiency. The breakfast each day was tasty and so well done that it almost fixed the hangovers we had inflicted on ourselves 😂 1000% worth including the breakfasts package to your stay. I'm usually sceptical on getting the valet service when I stay away but it was such an efficient service here at the Ovolo that it's yet another must have! I will certainly be back and, just because of the unbeatable level of professionalism and service provided by Nick and, really the whole team, I will be curious to see what additional extra services they have available as I have no doubt at all, anything this stellar team offers will be provided at a level of quality, far out weighing any cost they ask. All in all, I cannot recommend enough a stay at the Ovolo in Fortitude Valley which is, in my opinion, quite possible Brisbane's most understated & best kept secret!
