Underwhelming and disappointing hotel experience. Whilst the customer service we received from reception was friendly and lovely, I can't recommend this hotel based on our stay. The room wasn't cleaned very well, the bathroom sink and floors were dirty, the mini bar wasn't refilled daily as advertised, had to ask for basic things like slippers as they seem to have been forgotten, the housekeeping only did a half job, the pool area and sauna were also not very clean, towels had rust stains on them. Expected much more given the 5 star hotel category.

We only stayed one night but the room and staff were great. Free mini bar and snacks plus a free drink at the bar! Lovely room, comfortable bed and the lady checking us in was very understanding of our over active 2 year old! Such a nice hotel

By chance we ended our stay elsewhere out of Brisbane a day early and looked for a last minute hotel and this place came up. Blown away by the service, quality of the room for the price and the additional offerings like mini bar and access to the local gym to name a few. Such a cool boutique hotel that values each guest and offers an experience beyond a regular hotel. Highly recommend and will have this place on my list should I return to Brisbane

I stayed for the first time at Ovolo - The Valley for one night and it was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was stunning, clean and had everything I needed. The staff were the highlight - amazing and so friendly. I didn’t get time to check out the gym and pool but I will next time I stay. Thank you ⭐️

Ovolo exceeded my expectations. Stayed for one night and had a very good stay. Room was spotless! Loved the spa bath and little touches like bath salts. Mini bar was a welcome perk and loved having a few snacks and the sweet bar! Ordered room service which took less than 15mins! Perfect Used the pool as it was 36c outside! Very nice and refreshing. I think they need a bar or drinks up on the rooftop. The “scan and order” wasn’t available on a Friday (weird!) and it said “ask staff if you want to order drinks” but we didn’t see any staff for the two hours we were up there and weren’t going to go down to reception in our swimmers. Anyway, overall a great stay and I’d highly recommend. I’ll be returning next time I need to stay in the city.
