The front desk staff were rude and tried to charge us for items not used. Watch the charge for the 'resort' fee they add it to the final charge and not a separate charge, so you have to wait for the whole charge to be reversed and then the correct charge to be made. Not pending, fully charged. Ladies in the breakfast area were amazing, not enough staff for the number of guests using it. They worked so hard, heating every single person when arrived and said goodbye when they left. The front desk staff could learn a thing or two from the ladies. We had stayed here before and never had an issue. Service has declined by the face of the hotel, front desk! Grand Chancellor Hotels were once upon a time, one of the best, but it is only as good as your staff! View from room was poor. Next visit will be at a different property, they have not only lost this guest but all of the clients I would book in there too. Disappointing!

We had a king bed and it’s very comfortable. The choices of pillows is really good. No hair dryer but other bathroom amenities are all there. The king room is spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is right in the city. Excellent!

A fantastic place to stay! Rooms are quiet, well appointed with comfy beds. The staff are, without exception, excellent especially the breakfast staff who work really hard making sure everything is ideal in the restaurant. It is also an easy walk to most of Adelaide's attraction

Nice hotel with friendly, polite staff. Our room (11th floor) was spacious, quiet, very clean, the bed comfy and a nice touch is the pillow menu. The bistro is rather utilitarian but the buffet breakfast choice was good. Room service menu choice is okay but the actual service was really good, very quick, food was well cooked, hot and tasty. The only criticism is the car park … it’s extremely difficult to manoeuvre in, even harder if you have a large car or SUV, as the spaces and aisles are really small. Overall highly recommend.

A simple hotel that looked much better in the photos. Parking costs an extra $30. The facilities are okay, and the room was clean. The deal my partner booked included breakfast, but when we arrived, we were told breakfast wasn’t included and had to pay for it separately. The breakfast was actually very good and worth the price. Overall, for what we paid, we could have stayed at a better hotel.
