The Castle Hotel is kind of part of the North Melbourne furniture; it&rsquo;s been there for a while now. This particular bit of furniture though, has recently undergone a bit of a facelift. A re-upholstering, if you will, a re-snazzing of its cushions. Basically, it&rsquo;s had a giant renovation. Under new management, The Castle now boasts a pub-grub-done-fancy dining menu, as well as an especially impressive new dining room vibe. It&rsquo;s less &ldquo;grizzled old man hangs out at the bar&rdquo;, more &ldquo;take the kids for dinner&rdquo; or &ldquo;young professionals have a beer after work&rdquo;. Which is a-ok in our eyes. The hotel features two spacious levels capable of comfortably accommodating from 30 - 400 guests. Sit down dinner? Check. Cocktail party? Check.
