Possibly one of the best Hotels I've stayed at in Melbourne and I've stayed in many. The room was magnificent, the facilities in the room were well thought out and functional. The bed was so comfortable and the room dark and quiet. The staff were welcoming and genuine, with a special shout out to Rojina in the breakfast lobby who went above and beyond to make us feel special. She is an amazing asset to your team. Undoubtedly my new favourite CBD accommodation.

Stayed here for our anniversary and was quite disappointed. There was mould in the room and along the walkways, the shower was hanging out of the wall, as well as paint peeling off the walls. After raising these issues, we were offered a refund of $55 for parking and $6 for a bag of chips from the room. This was very underwhelming — especially considering the hotel has been promoting itself on LinkedIn as a finalist in the 2025 Victorian Accommodation Awards for Excellence, boasting a commitment to “delivering exceptional service to every guest.”

Sadly, the hotel's glam days are behind it. It feels very early 2000s and a bit tired overall. The staff are lovely and welcoming, which is a big plus. However, the hotel itself is quite dusty and dirty—from the old painted frames to my room and the lobby. It all felt like it needed a deep clean. On the upside, the location is great. The pool and spa are good, and there's even a TV to watch while you relax in the spa. The in-room jet spa bath is also a nice bonus. That said, cleanliness was a letdown. My room was noticeably dusty and not properly cleaned. I understand times are tough and cleaners may not be given enough time to do a detailed job, but it really affected my experience. The pillows and bedding were soft and comfortable, which I appreciated. Overall, for the price, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The breakfast and overall service at Stamford were excellent. Our chefs Amrita came to our table with a warm smile, asked for feedback, and made sure we had everything we needed, which was very thoughtful. The omelette chef was also amazing and made delicious omelettes. Very happy with the experience!

We had an amazing stay. The rooms were tidy, and very comfortable. The reception staff were professional and hands-on, ensuring everything went smoothly. A special mention to Rojina, who managed the restaurant during our breakfast. She was incredibly helpful — she even gave us a warm tour of the breakfast spread and made sure we felt taken care of. What really stood out was how she went out of her way to arrange me a takeaway spoon so I could enjoy my yogurt later in the day. Such a thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me and really showed her dedication and hard work.
