We had an amazing stay. The rooms were tidy, and very comfortable. The reception staff were professional and hands-on, ensuring everything went smoothly. A special mention to Rojina, who managed the restaurant during our breakfast. She was incredibly helpful — she even gave us a warm tour of the breakfast spread and made sure we felt taken care of. What really stood out was how she went out of her way to arrange me a takeaway spoon so I could enjoy my yogurt later in the day. Such a thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me and really showed her dedication and hard work.

Sadly, the hotel's glam days are behind it. It feels very early 2000s and a bit tired overall. The staff are lovely and welcoming, which is a big plus. However, the hotel itself is quite dusty and dirty—from the old painted frames to my room and the lobby. It all felt like it needed a deep clean. On the upside, the location is great. The pool and spa are good, and there's even a TV to watch while you relax in the spa. The in-room jet spa bath is also a nice bonus. That said, cleanliness was a letdown. My room was noticeably dusty and not properly cleaned. I understand times are tough and cleaners may not be given enough time to do a detailed job, but it really affected my experience. The pillows and bedding were soft and comfortable, which I appreciated. Overall, for the price, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was great, very clean, and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The location is perfect, close to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The warm pool and spa were a hit with the kids and a relaxing way to wind down. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Melbourne.

Elegant and sophisticated, Stamford Plaza is the ideal destination for the focused rest on the important business trip, or the perfect place for that special celebration that will be etched in one's memory. Generous service, professional staff, fully equipped gym and unwind in the heated pool and spa. The buffet breakfast had a varied spread and quite delightful in quality and atmosphere. Drink vouchers were given to me upon arrival for my special occasion which made me feel that little bit more special. Thanks John.🙂

Stayed here for 4 nights apparently it’s a 5 star hotel but in my opinion it’s run like a 3 star. Had an incident with the cleaners binning a casino ticket with money. The manager handled it so poorly. Rooms weren’t up to scratch. Overall service gets a poor rating from me
