The check in and out was seamless and very friendly and smooth.
The staff around the facilities where super friendly and helpful
The buffet breakfast was AMAZING!
Pricing was reasonable and the location and parking was near by which is good
However the beds were uncomfortable and so were the pillows, which meant not much sleep for 2 nights
The shower is over a bath tub, which is something I don’t like and the shower screen pushes toward the shower to stop Water spraying but makes it hard to turn taps on and off

Good choice International branded hotel (part of the Singaporean Stamford group) to stay at for a staycation or for work. The best thing is the convenient location in the CBD and it's close to Chinatown. Reasonably priced room rates as well.
The indoor pool and spacious spa tub was very relaxing. Rooms are clean and reasonably sized.
Also enjoyed the dining at the restaurant (Harry's Bar). I've had many a burger there for corporate lunch. Delicious.
Sometimes they have a Singapore themed menu which was appreciated.

Possibly one of the best Hotels I've stayed at in Melbourne and I've stayed in many.
The room was magnificent, the facilities in the room were well thought out and functional. The bed was so comfortable and the room dark and quiet.
The staff were welcoming and genuine, with a special shout out to Rojina in the breakfast lobby who went above and beyond to make us feel special. She is an amazing asset to your team.
Undoubtedly my new favourite CBD accommodation.

The Stamford Hotel impresses with its elegant architecture and unique atrium design, creating a wonderful sense of space and light. The glass lifts add a touch of sophistication and enhance the overall ambience. Service throughout the hotel is attentive and professional, and the location is excellent for exploring the area. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, they feel somewhat dated and don’t quite match the premium pricing. Nevertheless, the charm and atmosphere of the hotel make for a memorable stay.

One Star Experience!!!!
Stayed at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne for the Oasis concerts. The rooms were comfortable and the location was great, but the customer service was a complete letdown.
After checking out, I realised I’d left a shirt in the wardrobe. I called that afternoon and was told someone would get back to me — no call ever came. When I followed up the next day, I was told that if it wasn’t found on the same day, it was “gone” and I should just move on.
Comfortable rooms, sure. But customer service? Deplorable.
Will never stay there again.
Buckingham Room 2 overlooks Alfred Place and the interior mezzanine of the hotel. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light in. It is perfect for small board meetings and small presentations.
