It's a sparking new property with a beautiful lobby and restaurant. Special mention goes to the brilliantly thought-out built-in carpentry layout in the room. It's really well done in maximising space and utility. The fittings in the bathrooms were similarly excellent. Kudos to the architects/interior designers! Check in was a little slow, taking 15-20 minutes before it was our turn. Only 1 staff was manning the check in counter at ~8pm, before 1 colleague came down just as she was done processing the group of 4 people in front of us. A big thank you to Ms Agatha for the upgrade of 1 room (Titanium Elite) to a corner room with the second room (Gold Elite) being on the same floor. No biggie as the rooms don't have connecting doors, so our kids were happy to hunt down their grandparents down the corridor. Complimentary breakfast for Platinum Elite and higher Bonvoy members is ordered from an ala carte menu, with a small spread of ceral/milk available as well. The welcome gifts were the best we have gotten across 30-40 hotels - chocolate, a cup and a bottle of wine. The free street parking lots were all taken up so we had to opt for the hotel's paid lots with a nearby building. Dinner options were very limited and we ended up at Murdoch campus cafeteria for dinner.

Stayed here for more than a week. Nice and clean hotel. Ceiling and floor window brings in natural light - we were lucky to be on higher floor overlooking St John of God Private Hospital. Seems like a new area. There are not many shops or eating places nearby. For food, we made trips to the city from Murdoch station which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel (but not sheltered). Parking is an issue here. The stay will be better of the hotel provides free parking facilities. Water pressure for the shower is fine but not strong. Will be much nicer with stronger water pressure for shower. The service of staff was great. Overall happy with the stay. Hope there will be more shops and eateries soon and hope there is complimentary parking when we come and stay again! Thank you!

Hotel targeted at those visiting the medical facilities in its vicinity but we still enjoyed it as temporary long term accommodation. Rooms were modern and enjoyed lots of natural light due to its floor to ceiling windows. You get decent views of Murdoch area towards the city with some room windows facing north. Walking distance to Murdoch train station so its easy to take public trains to the city. Gym was well equipped and hardly used so great for introverts. The whole check-in process was seamless and staff were always ready to help. There were not many room options to choose from but our room with 2 double beds could comfortably accommodate a family of 4. The included breakfast was great, just need to be aware of the process the first time as its not your typical buffet but a la carte style up to a certain value per guest. Breakfast options were an upgrade to your typical scrambled eggs and toast as there were smashed avo and even a chili crag egg scramble on flat bread. The biggest challenge is the parking which is either based on luck if you can find street parking which is free in the evenings but then having to move off in the mornings, but you could do as the local workers do and park diagonally across where the construction site is as there are other cars parked there all day without incident. Or just pay an exorbitant amount to the adjacent multistorey carpark. There are some interesting characters that loiter outside the hotel which seem to be either patients of the nearby medical (mental health?) facility, or long term residents of the apartments beside the hotel and some look sketchy as but there's enough traffic and activity in the hotel lobby to not feel unsafe.

It was beautifully clean, well appointed and in a fantastic location, especially if you need to be close to the Hospitals. Our only negative was that the secure parking was not in the same building. Its in the same complex, just not directly accessible from the lobby. Also, it's an additional $25 for 48 hours, not included in the room fee. Other than that, it's a lovely hotel which should satisfy most needs.

Tried to book a room for two nights. All was going ok UNTIL I said to the lady that I could not understand her or hear her clearly. Her mood instantly changed and all of a sudden no rooms available! I doubt very much that there was no rooms available, it is just her way of getting back at me for not being able to hear her clearly or being able to understand her. Her English is poor, she wouldn't speak up, even after telling her that I couldn't hear her clearly. I can not and would not recommend Courtyard By Marriott Perth at all, to anyone.
