All staff encounters during our stay were great. They were friendly and helpful. We were very disappointed with our room. We had an accessible room that was disgusting. The carpet had stains and was lifted in areas making it a trip hazard (around the bed), the sheets were too small for the bed and didn’t cover the bottom third of the mattress. The worst part was the smell. It stank of urine and just before midnight we had to request a new room as it stank so bad and we felt dirty. So we had to pack up and move rooms in the middle of the night. Thankfully staff were amazing and ensured we could move to an accessible room that was clean and didn’t stink. Rooms are not cheap and it was very disappointing that we spent so much for such a gross room.

Great location for events at the showground. The hotel room is looking rather tired now and needs an upgrade. I paid a premium for a one night stay on the weekend for an event and for the price I had expected something with more features. Breakfast buffet was great, but again priced high with a surcharge on Sundays. Good experience but comparatively expensive to what I had expected.

Stayed here before a work event at a stadium. Got upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Large living area, spa bath and separate bedroom were all nice. Room was clean and well maintained (curtains were falling off the rubber in one part though). Room service was quick and food arrived hot.

The hotel was really the best location for the Royal Easter Show, with walking distance to the main entry. Also has carparking which was easy to use and an EV charger. I wasn't able to charge my EV as a car had parked there overnight, so I informed the concierge and Amir from Novotel took responsibility and ensured that my car would be charged after i returned from my day and ready to leave prior to 5pm. He was so friendly and also a great communicator, keeping me updated on the status of my car throughout the day. Thanks to Amir, I was able to drive home to Canberra on a full charge. I cannot recommend this hotel enough based on the customer service by Amir. Thank you.

We chose to stay at the Novotel predominately due to its proximity to Qudos Bank Arena. Staying at the Novotel when attending any event in Sydney Olympic Park is extremely convenient. We also liked that they had the option of a room with two double beds in it, which is super handy when travelling with a group of friends! The rooms are very run down, and looked in the exact same condition to when I last visited in 2018 which is a bit of a shame as they are now extremely worn and dated. The hotel needs an update, but it can be worth staying there due to location. There was plenty of overnight parking at $49.69 for one night.
