Stayed here for an event the other night. Very pleasant experience. From check in, to breakfast and the check out. This place was fantastic. I love a buffet breakfast and this one was superb. Great service and a really neat little area, a throwback to 2000. Highly recommended.

The staff are always the stand out factor in this hotel. Yes, it's perfectly placed for our needs, yes the facilities are always clean, but the exceptional staff set it apart. Huge shout out to Gary in dining who from day 2 remembered us every morning, knew our coffee orders and was consistently brilliant over our whole 8 day stay.

From check-in to check-out, we had an amazing stay at the Novotel. Bianca from the front desk was particularly helpful and was so pleasant to deal with. The hotel is family friendly with a kid's zone and the room itself was clean and spacious. Great location with walking distance to the Aquatic centre, arenas and stadiums as as well numerous dining options.

The room was pretty meh considering the price point. Wires hanging out from under the desk, room phone didn’t work properly (only on speaker), beds wouldn’t lock into place and there was rubbish and a toddler shoe under one, shower pressure was like needles and there was no need to use the cold because the hot faucet was barely warm, door was difficult to open and didn’t fully close behind you. The staff were wonderful and helpful though and I cannot fault them there. Oh and there was no mention about additional cost for parking at the hotel, $49 a night for a 2 night stay was definitely unplanned.
