Had a wonderful stay here. Was lucky enough that early check in was available for me and Trevor at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly and helpful! The room was nice. The breakfast here was a bit more expensive than I would have liked but there was so much on offer it did make up for it, had a nice view eating too.

This is a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There are views of the river available. A parking garage is underneath the building with good overnight rates. The food from the restaurant is delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this establishment when in the city.

As a hotel, the service hasn’t been great. Individually staff have been lovely though. I’m really unhappy with the cleanliness of the rooms. I spent several days here with friends and our rooms were not regularly cleaned. We would often come back to our rooms to find that the do not disturb sign had been placed on the door, presumably by staff, given that our room sign was still in our room and were all on multiple floors. When my friend asked if they could have their room cleaned, they were told that staff in Australia are expensive, as if you would say that to a customer phoning for service. Surfaces in the room were dirty upon arrival from the coffee table to the TV remote control were visibly dirty and clearly hadn’t been wiped down between guests. My shower has mould in it, and there’s mineral stains on the floor of the shower. The toilet seat is also defective and slides around. Am I nitpicking? Yes I am, but this is not what I expect from a four star hotel and my friends and I won’t be coming back.

Most amazing shower based on size of the room, water pressure and good quality shampoo and wash. The hotel is new and well kept and pays attention to its details. A cold fridge, superb lighting and switches, and overall superb design of the room that makes it refreshingly bright and cozy. Location is not the best to the queen street mall but it’s manageable. Looking forward to my next stay.

HOTEL WAS NOT WORTH IT. GO ELSEWHERE. HORRIBLE HOTEL! I can’t believe they’re getting any good reviews. Honestly, they must be from years ago. Aside from the dishonestly, fraudulently overcharging me (I’ll get to that), bathroom was a disaster! OVERCHARGING I was charged in the wrong currency and paid 2x the price I should have. I was PROMISED multiple times by staff it would be corrected, even on checkout, but staff was ignorant, and in the end, Trevor H., manager from Hell, didn’t care less and overcharged me. TOTALLY FRAUDULENT. AVOID AVOID AVOID! ROOM Counters soooo low thought it must be for wheelchair-bound folks at first but was a tub, and it sprayed water EVERYWHERE (see other reviews). Sink sprays water everywhere as well. What a mess! Known problem. Had to use 1/2 towels to soak up and get more. Room looks like it came out of the 70s. Horribly decorated. Could never figure out how to turn on one lamp. VIEW: this gorgeous river view that they promised was not what was in the photos! There is a highway below and construction, and a total mess. Loud and ugly. if I had been ripped off on a beautiful view, it would’ve been one thing lol… SERVICE: the staff is nice and friendly, but clueless and the manager is fraudulent IMHO and uncaring. FOOD: nothing special and breakfast was horribly disappointing after my previous experience at an IHG hotel. IHG needs to remove this one.
