We stayed here over New Year’s Eve to watch the fireworks and enjoy a chilled, romantic night away. We could see most of the fireworks right from our room, which was a great bonus. The location was super convenient, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was cool and relaxing after a hot day, and the buffet breakfast was great too. We had a couple of small issues with some lights and the fridge, but Glen and his team fixed everything quickly, which we really appreciated. They even comped our room service and threw in a bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch—thanks guys! 🙏 Overall, a really enjoyable stay and we’d happily come back 🎉

We had an amazing stay here! Rooms were immaculate and serviced daily and the amenities in the room were spot on. The pool and gym are easily accessible with table service being offered to the pool. Highlight of the stay was how hospitable Lucy was throughout our full stay. She really looked after us and gave us great recommendations. Can’t wait to return!

When we arrived their computer was down and we couldn’t check in. So why the 5 Star review? Because the manager Paul could not have been more helpful, apologetic or kind. He took our luggage, recommended a great eatery close by, looked it up on maps and sent us on. Upon return, he retrieved our luggage so we could use the pool and waiter service until e could check in. All in all, great customer service start to finish.

Voco Hotel Brisbane is fine for a work trip, comfortable enough with decent facilities, but a little dated and lacking that polished five-star feel. A practical stay that gets the job done, but it’s not one that’s going to wow you. Rooms (3/5): Clean enough overall, though finding a hair on my towel wasn’t the best first impression. The room itself felt a bit dated, more functional than luxurious. Facilities (3.5/5): The gym is small but usable, good enough to squeeze in a quick workout. The event and conference rooms, on the other hand, were quite nice, spacious, well laid out, and clearly maintained better than some of the guest areas. Service (3.5/5): No major complaints; staff were polite and helpful. Everything ran smoothly enough for a short business stay. Atmosphere (3/5): Simple and straightforward, but lacking that modern or premium touch that a “five-star” label implies. Overall: A perfectly fine option for a work trip or quick stay, but not somewhere you’d choose for a luxury getaway. Rating: 3/5 ⭐️ Functional and friendly, but far from fancy.

My husband and i stayed 2 nights here. The staff were nice and the hotel was close to everything we needed. The views of the river were beautiful. The only complaint i had was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It really let it down. The shower stall had mould on the walls and its all you could smell when you showered and the floor was dirty behind the door. Aside from that it wasnt too bad.
